Complexity in Individual Trajectories toward Online Extremism
Published 2018-01-01“…By quantifying the trajectories that individuals follow on their journey toward expressing high levels of pro-ISIS support—irrespective of whether they then carry out a real-world attack or not—our findings can help move safety debates beyond reliance on static watch-list identifiers such as ethnic background or immigration status and/or postfact interviews with already convicted individuals. …”

Principles of administrative legal proceedings in modern conditions: scientific and legal aspect
Published 2023-07-01“…Based on the analysis of the existing scientific developments on this issue, the author supports and further develops the scientific position on determining the characteristic features inherent in the principles of administrative justice in the modern context, namely a) each principle is based on a certain idea, determined by the socio-legal and ideological values of public life, the state and law at this stage of development and functioning; b) the principles have an external expression, i.e. they are textually concentrated in the norms of administrative procedure legislation and reflect the content, essence and internal structure of administrative proceedings, the entire process of the dynamics of its implementation; c) the principles perform a safeguarding function, as they contribute to the main task of administrative proceedings to ensure the proper level of exercise and protection of individuals and legal entities of their rights, freedoms and legitimate interests from violations by public authorities; d) each principle should be logical and scientifically grounded, internally balanced, aimed at ensuring the orderly administration of justice in administrative cases, while not repeating the content of other principles of administrative justice and not contradicting each other.…”

Droplet-based high-throughput 3D genome structure mapping of single cells with simultaneous transcriptomics
Published 2025-01-01“…Furthermore, our multi-omics joint assay, dscHi-C-multiome, enables precise cell type identification in the adult mouse brain and uncovers the intricate relationship between genome architecture and gene expression. Collectively, we developed the sensitive, high-throughput dscHi-C and its multi-omics derivative, dscHi-C-multiome, demonstrating their potential for large-scale cell atlas studies in development and disease.…”

Diet-Induced Adipocyte Browning
Published 2021-11-01“…The adipocyte browning process is a phenomenon that consists in the molecular and morphological remodeling of preadipocytes or mature white adipocytes into multilocular beige fat cells expressing thermogenesis-associated genes. Adipocyte browning may occur physiologically, mainly upon cold or exercise stimulation. …”

Specific Influences of Early Acoustic Environments on Cochlear Hair Cells in Postnatal Mice
Published 2018-01-01“…Compared with controls, no difference was found in the number and alignment of inner and outer hair cells or in the length of hair bundles after acoustic overstimulation. The expression and function of prestin, the motor protein of outer hair cells (OHCs), were specifically increased in OHCs activated by acoustic stimulation at postnatal days 7–11. …”

Critical functions for STAT5 tetramers in the maturation and survival of natural killer cells
Published 2017-11-01“…Here we show that STAT5 dimers are sufficient for NK cell development, whereas STAT5 tetramers mediate NK cell maturation and the expression of maturation-associated genes. Unlike the defective proliferation of Stat5 DKI CD8+ T cells, Stat5 DKI NK cells have normal proliferation to IL-15 but are susceptible to death upon cytokine withdrawal, with lower Bcl2 and increased active caspases. …”
