Correction of Vertical Smile Discrepancy through Ceramic Laminate Veneers and Surgical Crown Lengthening by Paula Bernardon, Carlos Estevão Lagustera, Luiz Roberto Coutinho Manhães Junior, Bruno de Castro Figuêiredo, Danielle Shima Luize, Rolando Plumer Pezzini, George Borja de Freitas, José Luiz Cintra Junqueira

    Published 2019-01-01
“…The aim of this study is to report a clinical case where an uneven occlusal plane was corrected, and the positioning of gingival zeniths, color, shape, and size of the dental elements involved were improved by means of gingivectomy and rehabilitation with 10 ceramic laminate veneers. It was possible to conclude that multidisciplinary treatment, when properly planned and indicated, respecting the limits and established techniques of periodontics, prosthesis, and dentistry, makes small occlusal leveling predictable and possible through these tools.…”

Study of the ψ(1S,2S) and ηc(1S,2S) Weak Decays into DM by Junfeng Sun, Yueling Yang, Jinshu Huang, Lili Chen, Qin Chang

    Published 2016-01-01
“…Inspired by the recent measurements on the J/ψ(1S)→Dsρ, DuK⁎ weak decays at BESIII and the potential prospects of charmonium at high-luminosity heavy-flavor experiments, we study ψ(1S,2S) and ηc(1S,2S) weak decays into final states including one charmed meson plus one light meson, considering QCD corrections to hadronic matrix elements with QCD factorization approach. …”

Climate change shifts risk of soil salinity and land degradation in water-scarce regions by Isaac Kramer, Nadav Peleg, Yair Mau

    Published 2025-02-01
“…Higher ET leads to greater unpredictability in the soil response, with the overall risk of high salinity and soil degradation increasing with ET. While the exact nature of future climate changes remains unknown, the results show a serious increase in salinity hazard for climate changes within the expected range of possibilities. …”
