Influence of hBN and MoS2 fillers on toughness and thermal stability of carbon fabric-epoxy composites
Published 2022-09-01“…The epoxy matrix in CFREC modified by hBN and MoS2 strengthens the matrix, deflects the crack path and resists delamination. Toughness reduced beyond 6 wt.% filler addition due to agglomeration and poor fiber-filler-matrix bonding as revealed by the surface morphology of the fracture specimen. …”

Tumor microenvironment-responsive engineered hybrid nanomedicine for photodynamic-immunotherapy via multi-pronged amplification of reactive oxygen species
Published 2025-01-01“…Abstract Reactive oxygen species (ROS) is promising in cancer therapy by accelerating tumor cell death, whose therapeutic efficacy, however, is greatly limited by the hypoxia in the tumor microenvironment (TME) and the antioxidant defense. Amplification of oxidative stress has been successfully employed for tumor therapy, but the interactions between cancer cells and the other factors of TME usually lead to inadequate tumor treatments. …”

Neuroprotective effects of arbutin against oxygen and glucose deprivation-induced oxidative stress and neuroinflammation in rat cortical neurons
Published 2022-03-01“…The OGD (60 min) and reoxygenation (24 h) treatment significantly (p < 0.001) compromised the antioxidant defence in cultured neurons. Subsequently, an increase (p < 0.001) in lipid peroxidation and inflammatory cytokines (tumour necrosis factor-α and nuclear factor kappa-B) declined neuron survival. …”

Design and Simulation of Cam Pressurized CVT
Published 2015-01-01“…Aiming at the problems of the current CVT actuated by hydraulic control system, such as high energy consumption, complicated control systems, speed ratio and transmission ability being limited by metal belt axial deflection,a new designed cam pressurized CVT hydraulic system is proposed, which is composed of cam automatic pressurized device and closed hydraulic system. The cam pressurized device automatically provides most of the clamping force, the closed hydraulic control system provides the auxiliary clamping force and changes the speed ratio. The new designed hydraulic control system with simple-structure can leave out expensive reversing values and reduce overflow loss, therefore it has advantages of less component parts, energy conservation, environmental protection and low cost. The structure design and working principle of the CVT system are introduced, and the simulation analysis is carried out by using the Matlab/Simulink software. The simulation results show that the cam pressurized CVT hydraulic control system has the significant advantages of fast dynamic response, stable performance and so on.…”
