Silicon-Based-Chip Multiplexing Technologies and Devices
Published 2015-10-01“…As the demands of the data communications increase quickly for the applications of cloud-computing as well as data centers, optical interconnects have been very attractive because of the unique advantages on the aspects of low power consumption, high speed and large bandwidth. It is effective to enhance the link capacity by utilizing multiplexing technologies like wavelength-division-multiplexing(WDM),polarization-division-multiplexing(PDM),as well as mode-division-multiplexing(MDM).It will become very useful when these multiplexing technologies are combined to work together as a hybrid multiplexing technology.Definitely the multiplexer is one of the most important devices for a multiplexed optical interconnect link.A review for the recent progress of ultracompact on-chip multiplexers was given, including WDM devices,PDM devices,MDM devices, and hybrid multiplexers.…”

Blind recognition of RSC based on logarithmic conformity
Published 2018-10-01“…A new algorithm based on logarithmic conformity was proposed.Firstly, based on the probability of total RSC coding equation, the concept of logarithmic coincidence degree, which could measure the establishment of coding equation, was introduced. Then because of constraint length of RSC,the polynomial database could be generated, and then logarithmic conformity of every polynomial could be calculated when traversing the database. As the results, the RSC could be recognized, because the correct polynomial could make the conformity maximum. The algorithm has small amount of calculation because of finite traversal, which was only related to amount of intercepted data, besides, this algorithm has good error tolerance by soft decisions. The simulation results show that the correct ratio of recognition can reach 90% at SNR of 0 dB and its performances are obviously superior to those of existing algorithms.…”

Environmental-adaptive RSS-based indoor localization
Published 2014-10-01“…A novel two-step dictionary learning (DL) framework was proposed to dynamically adjust the overcomplete basis (a.k.a.dictionary) for matching the changes of the RSS measurements, and then the sparse solution can better represent location estimations. Moreover,a modified re-weighting l1norm minimization algorithm was proposed to improve reconstruction performance for sparse signals. The effectiveness of the proposed scheme is demonstrated by experimental results where the locations of targets can be obtained from noisy signals, even if the number of targets is not known a priori.…”
