Inulin Reduces Kidney Damage in Type 2 Diabetic Mice by Decreasing Inflammation and Serum Metabolomics
Published 2024-01-01“…The results of untargeted metabolomics indicate that inulin has the potential to alleviate inflammatory response and kidney damage in diabetic mice. This beneficial effect is attributed to its impact on various metabolic pathways, including glycerophospholipid metabolism, taurine and hypotaurine metabolism, arginine biosynthesis, and tryptophan metabolism. …”

Research Progress on Alleviatory Effects of 6-Gingerol and 6-Shogaol on Intestine Tight Junction Damage
Published 2024-12-01“…This review summarizes the structural composition of the intestinal barrier, the role of tight junction in maintaining intestinal physiological functions, with an emphasis on the potential application value of the major phenolic components in ginger, 6-gingerol and 6-shogaol, for alleviating tight junction damage. Through comprehensive analysis of clinical research and experimental results in recent years, it is found that 6-gingerol and 6-shogaol can improve the expression levels of tight junction-related proteins and maintain the integrity and biofunction of the intestinal barrier by inhibiting inflammation, oxidative stress and apoptosis as well as regulating the composition of intestinal microbiota. …”

Experimental investigation of pretensioned bolts under cyclic loading: Damage assessment using acoustic emission
Published 2019-05-01“…The following main conclusions were drawn: (1) With a higher loading frequency, the acoustic emission counts rate increases, while the total energy released in a given cyclic loading path decreases. (2) A fitting formula is established according to the relationship between the tension amplitude and cumulative acoustic emission counts, which can analyze the tension magnitude level of the cyclic load. (3) A damage factor for a cyclic load is proposed based on the acoustic emission counts generated during the cyclic and monotonic loading process that can analyze the degree of damage to the anchorage system caused by the cyclic load. (4) Based on the spatial distribution of the acoustic emission orientation points and the acoustic emission energy generated during the pull-out process, the acoustic emission damage evolution process of the anchorage specimens is deduced, and the mechanism of the high stability of the pretension anchorage system after cyclic loading is analyzed. …”

Ultrasonic Spectrum Analysis of Granite Damage Evolution Based on Dry-Coupled Ultrasonic Monitoring Technology
Published 2020-01-01“…The self-developed dry-coupled rock ultrasonic monitoring system is adopted to set up a multidirectional and multiwaveform ultrasonic monitoring network, which aims to analyse the evolution law of acoustic spectrum parameters in the process of granite loading failure under uniaxial compression, to explore the dominant acoustic spectrum characteristic information at different stages of granite loading, and to verify in situ the damage monitoring of time-effect deformation. The results show that the wave velocity, amplitude, and amplitude-frequency of the first wave and the velocity of P-wave and S-wave show a significant upward trend in the rock compaction section. …”
