Research on the Hydrological Regime of the Gaoyao Section in the Lower Reaches of Xijiang River by IHA/RVA Method by GAO Minhua

    Published 2022-01-01
“…To comprehensively evaluate the changes in the hydrological regime of the Gaoyao section in the lower reaches of the Xijiang River, this study selected the daily average flow data of the Gaoyao Hydrological Station in the lower reaches of the Xijiang River for 1974—2018.The Mann-Kendall method, the Pettitt abrupt change test method, and the cumulative anomaly method were used to analyze the hydrological regime characteristics and abrupt hydrological change points of the Gaoyao section. The indicators of hydrologic alteration/range of variability approach (IHA/RVA) method was employed to comprehensively evaluate the alteration degree of the hydrological index at the Gaoyao Hydrological Station before and after the abrupt change. The results show that from 1974 to 2018,the comprehensive alteration degree of the flow at the Gaoyao Hydrological Station was 37%,and the alteration degree was thus a medium one.The flow generally decreases in the wet season and increases in the dry season. The research results can provide a reference for the proper development of water resources in the lower reaches of the Xijiang River.…”

Fast-flucos:malicious domain name detection method for Fast-flux based on DNS traffic by Chunyu HAN, Yongzheng ZHANG, Yu ZHANG

    Published 2020-05-01
“…There are three weaknesses in previous Fast-flux domain name detection method on the aspects of stability, targeting, and applicability to common real-world DNS traffic environment. For this,a method based on DNS traffic, called Fast-flucos was proposed.Firstly, the traffic anomaly filtering and association matching algorithms were used for improving detection stability.Secondly, the features, quantified geographical width, country list, and time list, were applied for better targeting Fast-flux domains.Lastly, the feature extraction were finished by the more suitable samples for trying to adapt to common real-world DNS traffic.Several machine learning algorithms including deep learning are tried for determining the best classifier and feature combination. The experimental result based on real-world DNS traffic shows that Fast-flucos’ recall rate is 0.998 6,precision is 0.976 7,and ROC_AUC is 0.992 9,which are all better than the current main stream approaches, such as EXPOSURE,GRADE and AAGD.…”
