Safety Characteristic Evaluation of Cage in Cylindrical Roller Bearing at the Stage of Start-Up and Stop by Zhang Wenhu, Wu Zhimin, Deng Sier, Zhang Song, Tian Heng, Yang Haisheng

    Published 2020-01-01
“…The dynamics model of cylindrical roller bearing (CRB) in aeroengine main shaft was promoted and solved by Hilber–Hughes–Taylor (HHT) integer algorithm with variable step in combination with symmetric multiprocessing (SMP) parallel solving technology, and a finite element model of roller to cage contact was built. The dynamic characteristics of CRB at the stage of start-up and stop were analyzed firstly, and then, the collision forces between rollers and cage were used as the boundary conditions of the finite element model to discuss the influences of working conditions, structural parameters, and materials on the stress distribution and safety characteristic of cage at the stage of start-up and stop. …”

Evaluation of a user‐friendly CSDS cage apparatus for studying depressive‐like behaviors in rodents by Hao Zhang, Dongmei Gao, Minghu Hu, Wanqing Zhou, Muxuan Han, Ya Sun, Yang Zhang, Jieqiong Wang, Mingzhou Gao

    Published 2025-01-01
“…Methods An innovative CSDS cage apparatus and water bottle was designed. To evaluate the effectiveness of the newly developed tools, a variety of animal models, including the tail suspension test (TST), sucrose preference test, forced swimming test (FST), novelty‐suppressed feeding test, female urine sniffing test, and open field test (OFT), were adopted to assess depressive‐like behaviors in mice. …”

Time-Varying Total Stiffness Matrix of a Rigid Machine Spindle-Angular Contact Ball Bearings Assembly: Theory and Analytical/Experimental Verifications by Fawzi M.A. El-Saeidy

    Published 2011-01-01
“…For a machine spindle-ACBBs assembly under mass unbalnce and a horizontal force at the spindle cutting nose when the bearing time-varying stiffness matrix (bearing cage rotation is considered) is used, the peak-to-valley variation in time domain of the stiffness matrix elements becomes significant compared to its counterpart when the bearing standard stiffness matrix (bearing cage rotation is neglected) is used. …”
