How Energy Sector Reacted to COVID-19 Pandemic? Empirical Evidence from an Emerging Market Economy
Published 2022-01-01“…The empirical results of ARDL models provide the first conclusion of the analysis, indicating that the number of short-term connections was greater than long-term connections, which is also explained by the presence of short episodes of high volatility recorded in the investigated time interval. Another conclusion drawn from this study is that COVID-19 cases registered in Europe and around the world have made a significant contribution to explaining the evolution of the energy market, owing to the large number of cases registered in these regions and the level of contagion transmitted from these markets to the energy market. …”

Identification of Resistance to Bacterial Blight in Introgression Lines of Yuanjiang Common Wild Rice and Analysis of Its Japonica Indica Properties
Published 2024-11-01“…【Result】The results of japonica and indica property analysis showed that among 280 introgression lines, indica rice types were dominant, with a total of 218 samples, while japonica rice types had 61 samples, and the japonica and indica properties of another one could not clearly be distinguished. The results of artificial inoculation experiments showed that the resistance intensity of these introgression lines to Chinese standard bacterial blight (C4-C9) ranked as: C4 > C7 > C6 > C5 > C9 > C8. …”

Effect of neoadjuvant chemotherapy on the immune microenvironment in gastric cancer as determined by multiplex immunofluorescence and T cell receptor repertoire analysis
Published 2022-03-01“…Then we performed multiplex fluorescence staining of a panel of immune markers (CD3, CD4, CD8, FOXP3 and PDL1) and T cell receptor β-chain sequencing to phenotype and enumerate T cell subpopulations and clonal expansion in paired GC samples (prechemotherapy and postchemotherapy) from another cohort of 30 cases of stage II/III GC patients. Results Infiltration of CD68+ macrophages in residual tumors after NAC was significantly decreased compared with treatment-naïve GC patients, while no significant difference observed with respect to other immune markers. …”

Tissue-Specific Autoantibodies Improve Diagnosis of Primary Sjögren’s Syndrome in the Early Stage and Indicate Localized Salivary Injury
Published 2019-01-01“…The analysis results showed the following: (1) Compared to HCs, the serum IgA levels of anti-CA6, anti-SP1 and anti-PSP were significantly higher in pSS as well as in sSS patients, and anti-CA6 IgG was also notably higher in pSS patients. (2) The positivity of anti-CA6, anti-PSP and all the three antibodies together were significantly increased in anti-SSA-negative pSS patients. (3) The average IgM levels of anti-CA6 and anti-SP1 decreased as the disease duration extended. (4) The anti-CA6-positive patients have significantly higher levels of serum IgA, while the anti-PSP-positive group has a notably higher serum IgM level. (5) Another autoantibody specific to the salivary glands, anti-α-fodrin antibody, was elevated in TSA-positive patients, especially in the anti-CA6-positive group. (6) Preliminary detection of saliva TSAs showed that all the IgG levels of these three antibodies increased significantly in pSS patients. …”

A qualitative study exploring experiences of treatment in paediatric rheumatology - children’s, young people’s, parents’ and carers’ perspectives
Published 2025-01-01“…Negative somatic, social or cognitive experiences led to behaviours such as treatment non-adherence. A limitation of the study is interviews were conducted jointly with CYP and PC, which may have influenced what participants were willing to say in front of one another however this does mean findings relate to both CYP and PC and so could be suitable targets for interventions to improve adherence.…”
