“…فرضت التطورات المتلاحقة لتقنيات المعلومات والاتصالات أعباء ومسؤليات كبيرة على تخصص المكتبات والمعلومات؛ لكونه معنيًا بتخريج كوادرعلمية قادرة على التعامل مع مصادر المعلومات الإلكترونية المتنوعة والاستفادة منها وإرشاد المستفيدين إليها، إلا أن واقع الحال يشير إلى وجود فجوة بين ما يدرسه الطالب فعليًا بالقسم من مقررات والواقع الذى يجد نفسه فيه بعد التخرج.هدفت الدراسة إلى تحديد ملامح وسمات المقررات بلائحتي قسم علوم المعلومات (المكتبات والوثائق والمعلومات سابقًا) بجامعة الفيوم، وقياس وتقييم مدى ملاءمة المقررات باللائحتين للمعايير الصادرة عن جمعية المكتبات الأمريكية ALA والخاصة بعلم المعلومات والتقنية ASIS & T، وأخيرًا تحديد نقاط القوة والضعف بلائحة الساعات المعتمدة للاستفادة منها في التعديل الدوري القادم، وقد اعتمدت الدراسة على المنهج المقارن، وتمثلت أدوات جمع البيانات في المعايير الصادرة عن جمعية المكتبات الأمريكية ALA والخاصة بعلم المعلومات والتقنية ASIS & T، ولكون العام الجامعي 2021/2022 يضم طلابًا تدرس باللائحة القديمة (الفرقة الثالثة والرابعة) وطلابًا تدرس وفقًا للائحة الساعات المعتمدة (الفرقة الأولى والثانية)؛ قامت الدراسة بقياس مدى ملاءمة المقررات باللائحتين للمعايير، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى عدة نتائج أبرزها: تغيير مسمى القسم من "المكتبات والوثائق والمعلومات" إلى "علوم المعلومات"، زيادة المدخلات العلمية للطلاب بزيادة عدد المقررات وخاصة التكنولوجية في لائحة الساعات المعتمدة، حيث بلغ عدد المقررات 72 مقررًا في مقابل 46 مقررًا في اللائحة القديمة، اتسمت مقررات اللائحة القديمة بأنها تقليدية إلى حد كبير، بالإضافة إلى عدم وجود أية مقررات تدعم محور استخدام المعلومات والمستفيدين، كما بلغ عدد مقررات محور تقنيات المعلومات بها إلى 8 مقررات بنسبة 13.6%، وتم مراعاة ذلك في لائحة الساعات المعتمدة لتصل إلى 19 مقررًا بنسبة 23.7%.…”
