Risk of neonatal SARS-CoV-2 infection: a retrospective cohort study based on infected mothers with gestational diabetes mellitus
Published 2025-01-01“…Logistic regression analysis identified an interaction between maternal SARS-CoV-2 infection and GDM on neonatal infection, where maternal SARS-CoV-2 infection (odds ratio [OR] = 0.31, 95%CI: 0.22-0.44) and vaccination for anti-SARS-CoV-2 (OR = 0.70, 95%CI: 0.50-0.98) were associated with lower odds of neonatal infection, while higher pre-pregnancy body mass index (BMI) (OR = 1.06, 95% CI: 1.02-1.10) and GDM (OR = 1.97, 95%CI: 1.21-3.21) were associated with higher odds of neonatal infection.ConclusionsWe demonstrate that the coexistence of GDM and perinatal SARS-CoV-2 infection was associated with an increased probability of neonatal SARS-CoV-2 infection.…”

Mechanism model of dynamic polyurethanes with two scales of nodes to regulate mechanical property
Published 2025-02-01“…Herein, we report a molecular topological structure model of polyether-based dynamic polyurethanes with polyphenols for mechanical property regulation; taking pyrogallic acid, polyethylene glycol, and hexamethylene diisocyanate trimer as an example, the elastic modulus ranges from 162.38 to 1038.62 MPa, and the tensile strength ranges from 1.70 to 42.88 MPa,and the tensile elongation can reach up to 47.26 %. Distinctively, the relationship between molecular, microscopic, and macroscopic structure and mechanical properties is explained in terms of topological structure; no catalyst and solvent are employed during the simple and fast synthesis. …”

Published 2025-01-01“…With the first detailed multiwavelength study of this source, we demonstrate that an active galactic nucleus (AGN) disk wind can account for its gamma-ray emission. Using a lepto-hadronic emission model based on a shocked ambient medium and a shocked wind region created by an AGN accretion disk wind, we identify two viable scenarios that are consistent with the Fermi-LAT data and multiwavelength observations: a hadronic pp -dominated scenario and a leptonic external-Compton-dominated scenario. …”
