Influences of True Triaxial Loading-Unloading Stress Paths on Mechanical Properties and Wave Velocity of Coal Samples subject to Risk of Rock Burst by Wei Shen, Guang-Jian Liu, Lin-Ming Dou, Si-Yuan Gong, Hu He

    Published 2021-01-01
“…To study fracture evolution and peak stress in burst risk coal samples (BRCSs) under true triaxial loading and unloading conditions, experimental and numerical research was applied to BRCSs under true triaxial stress paths entailing “x-direction displacement fixed, y-direction loading, z-direction unloading.” …”

Study on Temporal and Spatial Distribution Characteristics of Rock Burst Micro-seismic Incident in Deep-buried Tunnels Based on Micro-seismic Monitoring by LIN Kaisheng, ZHANG Shuyu, JIAO Yuqi

    Published 2020-01-01
“…The maximum buried depth of access tunnel of Shuangjiangkou Hydropower Station is up to 500 m, the maximum ground stress level is up to 38.8 MPa, and the strength-stress ratio is relatively low, so rock burst is easily to occur. In response to the above situation, this paper conducts the stability and rock burst monitoring by the micro-seismic monitoring, and researches & analyzes the temporal and spatial distribution characteristics of rock burst micro-seismic incident of access tunnel in the process of excavation, then identifies and delineates the rock burst areas at the access tunnel and the instability areas at surrounding rock, and carries out the back analysis of stress concentration region of surrounding rock. The result shows that the analysis on temporal and spatial distribution characteristics of rock burst micro-seismic incident in tunnels can well forecast on-site rock burst and provide basis for regulation of on-site construction progress and next construction plan, which can provide a reference for similar projects.…”

Tratamiento quirúrgico de condroides en las bolsas guturales de un equino mediante abordaje Whitehouse modificado. Reporte de caso by D. Cárdenas, D. Duque

    Published 2019-01-01
“…Una yegua de raza caballo criollo colombiano (CCC) de 34 meses de edad fue remitida al Centro de Veterinaria y Zootecnia de la Universidad CES, en la ciudad de Medellín (Colombia), para la extracción quirúrgica de condroides en ambas bolsas guturales. La paciente se intervino en estación utilizando neuroleptoanalgesia y a continuación, se empleó la técnica Whitehouse modificado en cada bolsa gutural para extraer la totalidad de los condroides. …”
