New chameleon Hashing of secure and privacy-preserving vehicular communications
Published 2014-11-01“…Many services and applications in vehicular ad-hoc networks (VANET) require preserving and secure data communications.To improve driving safety and comfort,the traffic-related status information will be broadcasted regularly and shared among drivers.Without the security and privacy guarantee,attackers could track their interested vehicles by collecting and analyzing their traffic messages.Hence,anonymous message authentication is an essential requirement of VANET.On the other hand,when a vehicle is involved in a dispute event of warning message,the certificate authority should be able to recover the real identity of this vehicle.To deal with this issue,Guo,et al proposed a new privacy-preserving authentication protocol with authority traceability using elliptic curve based chameleon Hashing.Although this scheme has vehicle identification traceability and high computational efficiency than the previous plan,but analysis shows that the scheme does not meet the anonymity.The security of Guo's scheme is analyzed and improvement is made based on Guo’s protocol.…”

CCA-secure verifiable Mix-Net protocol
Published 2015-10-01“…A CCA-secure verifiable Mix-Net protocol with provable security was proposed.The protocol was based on Wikström’s Mix-Net and improves its security by introducing an improved key generation algorithm and a new method for constructing proof of secret shuffling.Without revealing the correspondence between inputs and outputs,proposed protocol enables everyone to verify the correctness of output plaintexts through checking evidences broadcasted by each server.Thus,it satisfies public verifiability.Any sender can trace and examine the processing procedure of its ciphertext.Thus,proposed protocol satisfies sender verifiability.It is prored to be CCA-secure under the assumption of random oracle.Compared with previous mix-net schemes which are CCA-secure,proposed protocol does not require any trusted center,and incurs fewer interactions between servers which also resulting in a lower computation and communication complexity.Hence,the protocol is an ideal cryptographic tool for constructing secure electronic election protocol.…”

New slot management scheme supporting ONU sleep mode
Published 2012-10-01“…Aimed at the problem of optical network units(ONU) energy saving,a new based on the polling cycle time slot management scheme was proposed.In this scheme,polling cycle was a bandwidth allocation unit,and the transceiver time slots for each ONU were assigned at the beginning of each polling cycle,then the slot allocation information was broadcasted to each ONU through a modified GATE frame.Each ONU received the GATE frame,and extracted its own slot allocation information,and thus received or transmitted data within the allocated time slots in the polling cycle.When there was no need for receiving or transmitting data,the ONU would go into sleep mode with low energy consumption.Theoretical analysis and numerical simulation calculations show that the ONU with new time slot management scheme is only 11% of the energy consumption of the ordinary ONU,While the introduction of the downlink packet delay don’t exceed 2ms,and downlink average queue length is less than 2Mbit.…”

Published 2015-09-01“…In two-way relay system,focusing on the problem that using SSK transmission can not achieve the transmit diversity and has lower spectral efficiency,a diagonal space-time coded spatial modulation scheme called DSTC-SM scheme was proposed.In the DSTC-SM scheme,the source nodes transmit signals to the relay node by using the DSTC-SM codewords,and then the relay node equipped with one antenna amplifies the received signals and broadcasts them to the destination nodes.The proposed scheme uses the diagonal space-time codes as the core space-time block code (STBC) to construct the DSTC-SM codewords,and combines with SM technology to take advantage of the benefits of DSTC and SM.The antenna pairs activated in different codewords are moving cyclically along the total transmit antenna array.In addition,the rotation angles are further optimized to maximize the diversity and coding gains of the DSTC-SM codewords,so the proposed scheme can still obtain diversity gain even though only one transmit antenna is activated.Simulation results show that the proposed scheme outperforms the existing schemes.…”

Time series and semantics-based chinese microblog topic detection and tracking method
Published 2016-05-01“…As a widely used tool in social networks,microblog is definitely with short document,quick broadcasting and topic changeable,which results in big challenging for social topic detection and tracking.A new systematic framework for micro-blog topic detection and tracking was proposed based on the microblog clustering using temporal trend and semantic similarity.Firstly,a feature words selection method for hot topics was presented by defining the temporal frequent words set.Secondly,an initially clustering was conducted depending on the selected temporal frequent words set.As far as the overlaps between initial clusters concerned,an effective overlap elimination algorithm was proposed,by introducing the extended short document semantic membership,to separate any possible overlapped initial clusters.Finally,an aggregated topic clustering method was employed using the cluster semantic similarity matrix.The experiments were at last done on some real-world dataset from Sina microblog.It show that the method for chinese microblog topic detection and tracking can obtain excellent performance and results.…”
