“…To improve the performance of flooding,an efficient broadcasting algorithm with constrained flooding was proposed,this algorithm only selected efficient some from all routing packets to forward according to Euclidean Distance.A packet listening method,which could reduce route maintenance overhead and route discovery frequency,was studied,then a local route repair and optimization algorithm,which was based on node height and can repair the failure path due to link breakage,was presented.Furthermore,based on the efficient broadcasting algorithm and local route repair and optimization algorithm,a new on-demand routing protocol,named LOOR（low overhead on-demand routing）,was proposed.The simulation results on ns2 show that LOOR can enhance the route robustness,decrease the average hop count,the route discovery frequency and the routing overhead obviously,and increase the packet delivery ratio.…”

“…A mobile terminal supporting the IEEE 802.11u standard can automatically access a wireless local area network within the coverage of a network service provided by a wireless local area network.Aiming at the characteristics of IEEE 802.11u WLAN,a time series sensing based PSM (S-PSM) scheme was proposed.The transmission sequence information was broadcasted using a generic advertisement service (GAS) defined in the IEEE 802.11u standard,and all terminals controlled their own operating states according to the sequence information.In order to reduce the collision probability of the contention channel,a response contention window was introduced.When there was no data packet in the access point (AP),the AP broadcasted the GAS frame and activated the idle timer.All terminals went to sleep until the idle timer expires.The simulation results show that compared with the proposed traditional PSM,the scheme can significantly reduce power consumption and improve terminal energy-efficiency.…”

“…A novel OFDM-ROF system using single sideband modulation technology in radio-over-fiber system to generate optical wave was proposed and experimentally demonstrated.The 2Gbit/s OFDM signal and a 10GHz RF clock were mixed.The mixed signals were applied to drive a double-arm intensity modulator to generate a single sideband signal which transmitted to base station（BS） over fiber and broadcasted by antenna after the optical OFDM signal was converted into electrical OFDM signal.The experiment results show that in 10GHz-ROF system,a 2Gbit/s OFDM signal transmitted over 200km SMF without wireless broadcasting only has 1dB power penalty.After being only transmitted over 8m wireless air distance it has 0.3dB power penalty.When the signal transmitted over both 200km SMF and wireless air distance of 8m,also can obtain a clear received constellation in the experiment.…”
