Study on the Full‐Cycle Stress Evolution Law and Reasonable Size of Isolated Coal Pillar
Published 2025-01-01“…The results show that the vertical stress and maximum principal stress increase correspondingly with the decrease of the protective coal pillar size under both stages, and the minimum value of the minimum principal stress occurs on the 8 m protective coal pillar; The values of the principal stress ratio and the principal stress deflection angle do not differ greatly in the protection of the coal pillar, and the fluctuation of the values is mainly concentrated in the vicinity of the back‐mining roadway; The second invariant of bias stress (J2) is mainly concentrated in the protective coal pillar near the side of the extraction zone, when the size of the protective coal pillar is reduced to 10 m, the J2 on the side of the extraction zone and the J2 on the side of the roadway are connected, and the whole protective coal pillar is under the influence of J2, which is basically the same as the damage pattern of the plastic zone; Based on the formula of limit balance theory to calculate the elastic core width of different sizes of protective coal pillars, and combined with the results of numerical simulation analysis, it finally concluded that the reasonable size of the protective coal pillar of this isolated island working face is 15 m.…”

Displacement Characteristics of a Deep Excavation in Hangzhou Soft Clay
Published 2022-01-01“…The following conclusions are drawn: (1) The axial forces of the struts dynamically change during the excavation and construction or removal of adjacent braces. (2) The ratio between the measured maximum wall deflection and excavation depth δh−max/He is 0.14–0.17%, larger than those in Shanghai. (3) The surface settlement behind the wall has an obvious primary influence zone and secondary influence zone, characterized by a “groove shape” and “triangle shape,” respectively. …”

Study on Bearing Capacity of the Existing Engineering Pile Group without Lateral Displacement during Dynamic Top-Down Construction
Published 2022-01-01“…For the problem of the bearing capacity of the existing engineering pile group under the top-down construction, the linear eigenvalue stability method was used first to study the influence of the lateral restraints such as the horizontal resistance of soil, the diameter of piles body, and the bending rigidity of the temporary steel bracing on its bearing capacity. The corresponding critical stability load and the effective length coefficient were then obtained. …”

ANALYSIS OF SHRINKAGE PERFORMANCE OF U-SHAPED RUBBER OUTER WINDSHIELD OF HIGH-SPEED TRAIN AT LOW TEMPERATURE
Published 2025-01-01“…Based on the low temperature tensile test data of the rubber, Ansys software was used to fit the Mooney-Rivlin hyperelastic constitutive model of rubber material parameters, and the thermo-solid coupling simulation was carried out on the U-shaped rubber outer windshield according to three real working conditions, and the influence of different working conditions on the U-shaped rubber deformation was studied. The low temperature test was carried out on U-shaped rubber outer windshield and three rubber samples with different batten thicknesses, the influence of temperature and batten thickness on its deformation was studied. The results show that the U-shaped rubber deformation is mainly caused by the temperature change, the U-shaped rubber height decreases obviously, and the shape variable of the side wall thickness and the rubber length is small. In addition, the batten thickness has a greater influence on the rubber shape variable at the bolt hole.Compared with the batten of 5 mm and 6 mm thickness, the 4 mm batten produces a larger deformation under the bolt preload action, resulting in a larger deformation at the bolt hole, and then increasing the batten thickness can effectively reduce the hole removal risk.Comparing the finite element simulation data with the low temperature test results, it is found that the two results are basically consistent, which indicates the finite element analysis feasibility and the low temperature test reliability. The research results provide some guidance basis for the U-shaped rubber outer windshield under low temperature application reliability.…”
