Diagnostic Utility of Serum Ascites Lipid and Protein Gradients in Differentiation of Ascites by Mukhyaprana Prabhu, Rahul Sai Gangula, Weena Stanley

    Published 2019-01-01
“…Conclusions. With a cut-off value of 4, SAPG is one of best screening tests in differentiation of cirrhotic with noncirrhotic ascites when compared with SAAG, whereas it is a poor parameter with high sensitivity and very low specificity in differentiation of malignant with nonmalignant ascites. …”

    Fuzzy Set Theoretic Approach to Generalized Ideals in BCK/BCI-Algebras by G. Muhiuddin, N. Alam, S. Obeidat, N. M. Khan, H. N. Zaidi, S. A. K. Kirmani, A. Altaleb, J. M. Aqib

    Published 2022-01-01
“…This paper deals with the study of generalizations of fuzzy subalgebras and fuzzy ideals in BCK/BCI-algebras. In fact, the notions of ∈,∈∨κ~∗,qκ~-fuzzy subalgebras, ∈,∈∨κ~∗,qκ~-fuzzy ideals, and ∈∨κ~∗,qκ~,∈∨κ~∗,qκ~-fuzzy ideals in BCK/BCI-algebras are introduced. …”

    Published 2023-01-01
    “…In this paper, we propose the concept of ∈,∈∨j∗,qj-fuzzy p-ideals in “BCI-algebras.” We show that “∈,∈∨q-fuzzy p-ideals” and “∈∨j∗,qj,∈∨j∗,qj-fuzzy p-ideals” are “∈,∈∨j∗,qj-fuzzy p-ideals.” …”

Reconstruction of sparse check matrix for LDPC at high bit error rate by Zhaojun WU, Limin ZHANG, Zhaogen ZHONG, Renxin LIU

    Published 2021-03-01
“…In order to reconstruct the sparse check matrix of LDPC, a new algorithm which could directly reconstruct the LDPC was proposed.Firstly, according to the principle of the traditional reconstruction algorithm, the defects of the traditional algorithm and the reasons for the defects were analyzed in detail.Secondly, based on the characteristics of sparse matrix, some bit sequences in code words were randomly extracted for Gaussian elimination. At the same time, in order to reliably realize that the extracted bits sequence could contain parity check nodes, the multiple random variables were determined based on the probability of containing check nodes in one extraction. Finally, the statistical characteristics of LDPC under the suspected check vector was analyzed.Based on the minimum error decision rule, the sparse check vector was determined. The simulation results show that the rate of reconstruction of most LDPC in IEEE 802.11 protocol can reach more than 95% at BER of 0.001, and the noise robustness of the proposed method is better than that of the traditional algorithm. At the same time, the new algorithm not only does not need sparseness of parity check matrix, but also has the good performance for both diagonal and non-diagonal check matrix.…”

Improved Design of Bit Synchronization Clock Extraction in Digital Communication System by Huimin Duan, Hui Huang, Cuihua Li

    Published 2018-01-01
“…An improved method is proposed in this design to reduce the phase jitter after the synchronization or the random noise induced phase jitter in a bit synchronization clock extraction circuit. By using a newly added digital filter between the phase detector and the controller, the phase difference pulses from the phase detector are counted and processed, before being transmitted to the controller for adjusting the phase of the output clock. …”

Electroencephalography Signal Grouping and Feature Classification Using Harmony Search for BCI by Tae-Ju Lee, Seung-Min Park, Kwee-Bo Sim

    Published 2013-01-01
“…This paper presents a heuristic method for electroencephalography (EEG) grouping and feature classification using harmony search (HS) for improving the accuracy of the brain-computer interface (BCI) system. EEG, a noninvasive BCI method, uses many electrodes on the scalp, and a large number of electrodes make the resulting analysis difficult. …”
