Temporal and Spatial Assessment of Glacier Elevation Change in the Kangri Karpo Region Using ASTER Data from 2000 to 2024
Published 2025-01-01“…Correlation analysis with meteorological data indicated that higher summer temperatures and increased summer rainfall intensify elevation loss, while increased spring snowfall may reduce ablation. Our analysis highlights distinct variations in glacier elevation changes across different locations, elevations, and climatic conditions in the Kangri Karpo region, providing valuable insights into glacier responses to environmental changes on the Tibetan Plateau.…”

Cryoablation for Ventricular Tachycardia Originating from Anterior Papillary Muscle of Left Ventricle Guided by Intracardiac Echocardiography
Published 2017-01-01“…Recently, cryoablation guided by intracardiac echocardiography, 3-dimensional mapping system, and image integration was introduced as alternative strategy for this challenging ablation. We present a case of ventricular tachycardia originating from anterior PM of left ventricle treated by cryoablation guided only by intracardiac echocardiography.…”

Marked Regression of Left Ventricular Hypertrophy after Outflow Desobliteration in HOCM
Published 2012-01-01“…We present an HOCM patient in whom marked regression of left ventricular hypertrophy occurred within two years following outflow desobliteration by percutaneous septal ablation. Maximum wall thickness (initially documented by both echo and MRI) decreased from 34 mm to 22 mm (followup by echo only due to presence of the ICD), crossing the threshold value of 30 mm which was one of the risk markers that had triggered the primary prophylactic ICD implantation in this case prior to septal ablation.…”

Expanding of Excimer Laser Photoablation’s Functionality in Ophthalmology
Published 2021-10-01“…One of the significant weaknesses of excimer laser-based vision correction devices is the difficulty of achieving a required change in the refractive properties of the cornea to sharply focus the image on the retina with distance from the working area (ablation zone) center to the periphery due to a change in the laser beam incidence angle. …”

Effects of Air Injection on the Metabolic Activity of Emulsifier-Producing Bacteria from Oil Reservoirs
Published 2020-01-01“…Herein, the effects of air injection on oil emulsification, nutrient consumption, oil properties, and microbial community structures were compared for activated cultures under four different oxygen content conditions: anaerobic, facultative anaerobic, intermittent aeration, and aerobic. The results showed that crude oil in aerobic and intermittent aeration cultures was emulsified effectively when nutrients were thoroughly depleted. …”
