Une étape primordiale dans l’évaluation d’une politique de développement durable
Published 2003-11-01“…This last aims to analyse the context of the policy and its theory of action. In order to define, in a pertinent way, priority evaluative questions, both political analysis and implementation analysis (an interdisciplinary method) are required, moreover when the policy is defined in a regional and co-operation framework. …”

Density of states, black holes and the Emergent String Conjecture
Published 2025-01-01“…Abstract We study universal features of the density of one-particle states ρ(E) in weakly coupled theories of gravity at energies above the quantum gravity cutoff Λ, defined as the scale suppressing higher-derivative corrections to the Einstein-Hilbert action. Using thermodynamic properties of black holes, we show that in asymptotically flat spacetimes, certain features of ρ(E) above the black hole threshold M min are an indicator for the existence of large extra dimensions, and cannot be reproduced by any lower-dimensional field theory with finitely many fields satisfying the weak energy condition. …”

Clinical epidemiological characterization of COVID-19 in Cumanayagua. 2021
Published 2022-10-01“…Being aware of your history is essential to differentiate progress from your progress and thus anticipate and take action for more challenging and dire situations. To this end, knowing its clinical and epidemiological characteristics and its constant updating is valuable to conceive the behavior of the COVID-19 disease, which behaved with an increase in the period studied in the municipality of Cumanayagua.…”

The Effect of Combined Tensile-Torsional Loading Path on the Stress/Strain States of Thin-Walled Circular Tubes
Published 2020-01-01“…In this paper, an elastoplastic analysis model of thin-walled circular tubes under the combined action of axial force and torque is discussed. Based on the von Mises yield criterion and the assumption of isotropic linear hardening, the methods of stress path and strain path loading are analyzed to study the effect of combined tensile-torsional loading path on thin-walled circular tubes. …”

The action that unfolds before the spectator thus becomes a projection of his imaginary landscape, the “music of the lost kingdom” of memory, brought forth by the power of utterance. …”
