Optimizing cluster head selection in wireless sensor networks using firefly and genetics algorithm by Navid Moshtaghi Yazdani, Mohammad Hasan Olyaei Torqabeh

    Published 2023-03-01
“…For this purpose, the evolutionary firefly algorithm and genetic algorithm that itself has been modeled after natural biological evolution modeling have been used, and instead of randomly choosing cluster heads, it works on the possible answers that have superior attributes and also have a higher survival rate. The results of comparing LEACH and EAMMH protocols and the proposed method in terms of the number of dead nodes compared to the number of execution times based on 50, 100, and 200 nodes indicates that the number of dead nodes for the simulation of LEACH protocol is almost equal to the number of dead nodes for the EAMMH protocol, but the proposed algorithm has approximately 10 percent less dead nodes, but by an increase in the number of nodes (200 nodes) the number of dead nodes have decreased 35 percent and 22 percent compared to LEACH and EAMMH algorithms respectively.…”

EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON FRACTURE PERFORMANCES OF AA LY12CZ AND FSW JOINTS by ZHANG HaiYing, LIU XiuLi, ZANG WeiFeng, DONG DengKe

    Published 2015-01-01
“…Based on years’ experience in fracture toughness tests, the matters need attention for KRcurve and fracture toughness determination using thin compact tension( C( T)) specimen were studied. The KRcurve and fracture toughness of LY12 CZ alloy and friction stir welded joints were determined according to proposed test method. The microstructures of FSW joint were also observed utilizing metalloscope. The test result demonstrates that the fracture toughness of friction stir welded LY12 CZ alloy is higher than that of the parent alloy, because the weld nugget presents fine recrystallized structure. It is also found that the fracture toughnesses with crack perpendicular to rolling direction are higher than those with crack parallel to rolling direction for both welded and parent alloy. In addition, the test result indicates that the fracture toughness of C( T) specimen is related to inplane dimension, and that the fracture toughness increases with the increase of in-plane dimension.…”

Triptolide suppresses IL-1β-induced expression of interleukin-8 by inhibiting ROS-Mediated ERK, AP-1, and NF-κB molecules in human gastric cancer AGS cells by Shinan Li, Shinan Li, Dhiraj Kumar Sah, Archana Arjunan, Mohamed Yazeer Ameer, Bora Lee, Young-Do Jung

“…These results demonstrate that Triptolide inhibits the IL-1β-induced IL-8 expression in gastric cancer cells by inhibiting ROS production and angiogenesis, via the dose-dependent attenuation of ERK, AP-1, and NF-κB activation. In this study, we showed that Triptolid inhibits ROS/ERK-mediated AP-1 and ROS-mediated NF-κB axes potentially leading to an improved treatment outcome for gastric cancer and its associated tumor microenvironment.…”

Binocular suppression based asymmetrical stereo image watermarking with self-recovery by Ting LUO, Gang-yi JIANG, Xiao-dong WANG, Mei YU, Zong-ju PENG, Feng SHAO

    Published 2013-06-01
“…To authenticate the integrity of stereo image,an asymmetrical stereo image watermarking scheme based on binocular suppression was proposed.Firstly, according to the features of stereo vision, the computation of binocular sup-pression model was established. The concept of asymmetric stereo image watermarking was defined that two views of stereo image were embedded with different data payloads. Then, discrete wavelet transform was employed to generate different types of recovery watermark for each block, and their copies were embedded into two or three different mapping blocks to improve the quality of recovery. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method can detect and recover different kinds of tamper effectively, such as collage attack, and the recovered quality is better than those of other existing and extended mono-image watermarking methods.…”
