Investigation on the stress-strain relationship of rubberized concrete under uniaxial compression
Published 2025-01-01“…When the rubber content was increased to 20%, it was observed that rubber reduced the workability and load-bearing capacity of concrete, with reductions of 44.7%, 26.9% and 30.5% in slump, peak stress and modulus of elasticity, respectively. …”

Variation in Photovoltaic Energy Rating and Underlying Drivers Across Modules and Climates
Published 2025-01-01“…This study uses the Climate Specific Energy Rating (CSER) and specific yield metrics as criteria to determine how different PV modules perform across climates in the contiguous United States (CONUS) and identifies the underlying drivers behind the observed variations. The annual CSER and specific yield of various PV technologies vary by more than 10% and 30%, respectively, across the CONUS. …”

Simulation and Optimization of Metro Train Braking Rate under the Timing Condition
Published 2025-01-01“…The results show that under the timing condition, when the braking rate on the interval is increased from 0.6 to 0.85, the maximum cruising speed of the train can be reduced from 141 km/h to 117 km/h, saving 30% of the energy consumption with a significant energy-saving effect. …”

Mitochondrial Gene Expression of Three Different Dragonflies Under the Stress of Chlorpyrifos
Published 2025-01-01“…The present study quantified the transcript levels of mitochondria protein-coding genes (mtPCGs) using quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (<i>RT-qPCR</i>) in samples of larvae of three dragonfly species (<i>A. parthenope</i>, <i>E. elegans</i>, and <i>G. confluens</i>) under different levels of CPF stress. By exposing larvae from uncontaminated populations to 0.05 μg/L CPF for 24 h, the transcript levels of seven mtPCGs in <i>A. parthenope</i> were significantly increased (<i>p</i> < 0.05) by 1.89 ± 0.42-fold for <i>COI</i>, 4.30 ± 0.24-fold for <i>COIII</i>, 5.94 ± 0.17-fold for <i>ND1</i>, 4.69 ± 0.56-fold for <i>ND2</i>, 3.44 ± 0.48-fold for <i>ND4</i>, 2.19 ± 0.53-fold for <i>ND4L</i>, and 5.05 ± 0.36-fold for <i>Cytb</i>, respectively. …”
