Study on Strength Test and Application of Lime Soil in Pavement Base Modified by Soda Residue
Published 2022-01-01“…The test results showed that (1) with the change of SR content in the range of 0%–12%, the optimum moisture content of SRLS showed the change law of first increasing and then decreasing, but the change range was small; (2) the UCS of SRLS gradually increased with the extension of curing age, with the strength increasing faster in the early stage and slower in the later stage. …”

The Mechanism and Application of Deep-Hole Precracking Blasting on Rockburst Prevention
Published 2015-01-01“…The bursting proneness of the whole composite structure could be weakened by the deep-hole precracking blasting. The change of stress state in the process of precracking blasting is achieved in two ways: (1) artificially break the roof apart, thus weakening the continuity of the roof strata, effectively inducing the roof caving while reducing its impact strength; and (2) the dynamic shattering and air pressure generated by the blasting can structurally change the properties of the coal-rock mass by mitigating the high stress generation and high elastic energy accumulation, thus breaking the conditions of energy transfer and rock burst occurrence.…”

A Study on the Creep Characteristics of Airport Viscous Subsoil Based on Unsaturated Stress Level
Published 2021-01-01“…The following conclusions could be drawn: (1) under different stress levels, the one-dimensional creep deformation of unsaturated soil has a power function relationship with time, and the change rate exponentially decreases with the stress level, which can be well-expressed by the proposed modified one-dimensional Mesri creep model; (2) under different stress levels, the three-dimensional creep strain of the unsaturated soil shows a hyperbolic curve with time and a near-linear relationship at the semilogarithmic coordinate, which can be well-expressed by the proposed modified three-dimensional creep model; (3) under different stress levels, both the one-dimensional creep and three-dimensional creep of the unsaturated soil can be divided into two stages, which are the accelerated creep stage and stable creep stage.…”

Cashew Nut Quality as Influenced by Microwave Heating Used for Stored Grain Insect Control
Published 2014-01-01“…Increase in microwave power level and exposure time caused a decrease in moisture content, increase in temperature, and change in colour. Microwave treatment to target temperatures of 50–55°C (unfavorable for insect survival) made the PV of cashew nut decrease to 1.10 to 1.66 meq O2/Kg (from an initial value of 2.08 ± 0.05) and FFA value to 0.11 to 0.51% (from an initial value of 0.68 ± 0.03). …”
