“…RESULTADOS: Uma cartilha esta denominada como, “Orientações para as gestantes portadoras do vírus HIV”, que inclui orientações como: o que fazer diante de um diagnóstico de HIV positivo quando se está grávida; diferença entre HIV e Aids (Síndrome da Imunodeficiência Adquirida); como ocorre a transmissão vertical; o que fazer para diminuir os riscos da transmissão vertical; recomendações; importância da terapia antiretroviral; direitos e deveres; a importância do pré-natal e o que fazer após o nascimento do bebê, e a outra cartilha esta denominada como, “Plano de cuidados para o recém-nascido”, que aborda, algumas recomendações gerais, como: quando buscar o leite artificial no hospital, já que este é oferecido pelo Ministério da Saúde; a importância do registro do bebê, da vacinação e da realização do teste do pezinho; a importância do aleitamento artificial e como preparar o leite; cuidados gerais com o bebê (cuidados de higiene, cuidados com o umbigo, banho de Sol); o que fazer em caso de cólicas abdominais; importância da administração do AZT oral até as seis semanas de vida e como proceder essa administração.Após a elaboração e as devidas correções nas cartilhas, submetemos estas ao serviço de Programação Áudio Visual do referido hospital para que assim fossem configuradas e impressas no padrão áudio visual do hospital e finalmente, para que pudessem ser implementadas nas consultas de enfermagem do serviço citado; CONCLUSÕES: A elaboração das cartilhas resultou numa aprendizagem significativa que me remeteu a uma satisfação enquanto enfermeira e residente por ter me sentido produtiva para a assistência de saúde prestada no serviço que atuei. …”
