Trade-Offs and Synergies of Ecosystem Services in Terminal Lake Basins of Arid Regions Under Environmental Change: A Case Study of the Ebinur Lake Basin
Published 2025-06-01“…As essential components of arid region ecosystems, terminal lakes play a critical role in enhancing the functions of ecosystem services (ESs) and improving ecological structure. Despite the increasing degradation of ESs and landscape stability due to climate and human pressures, comprehensive assessments of water provision, carbon storage, soil conservation, and habitat integrity in arid terminal lake regions are still lacking. …”

Retrieving 4D landslide displacement using Pléiades satellite stereo pairs on the La Valette landslide
Published 2025-06-01“…However, traditional field investigations are time- and labor-consuming, which may limit the understanding of the landslide evolution and thereby mitigation. We propose a new 4D landslide displacement framework, combining satellite-based structure-from-motion, cross-correlation feature tracking for horizontal ground-surface deformation measurements with COSI-Corr, and DEM differencing for vertical ground-surface deformation. …”

Curlometer and gradient techniques: past and future applications
Published 2024-12-01“…Four-point estimates of magnetic gradients are limited by uncertainties in spacecraft separations and the magnetic field, as well as the presence of non-linear gradients and temporal evolution. Nevertheless, the techniques can be reliable in many magnetospheric regions where time stationarity is largely applicable, or when properties of the morphology can be assumed (for example, the expected orientation of underlying large-scale structure). …”

Spatiotemporal analysis of carbon emissions in the Yangtze River Delta Urban Agglomeration: Insights from nighttime light data (1992–2019)
Published 2024-11-01“…High-high emission clusters emerged in metropolitan areas, while low-low clusters formed in peripheral mountain regions. (2) Carbon emission types were stable (66.5 %), but 17.6 % showed higher emissions transitioning to lower, particularly in northeast Jiangsu. (3) The broader regional background had a stronger influence on the spatial impacts of carbon emissions than nearest neighbor effects, enhancing both outlier convergence and “club convergence” among similar regions. (4) Spatiotemporal patterns were shaped by the lock-in effect in low-carbon areas and spillover effects in high-carbon areas, with economic scale and industrial structure as key drivers. This study provides crucial insights for regional carbon reduction strategies in the YRDUA.…”

Study on mining deformation and fracture response mechanism and rock pressure law of super thick composite key roof
Published 2025-05-01“…When the working face advanced to 960 m, the 40 m thick fine sandstone (sub key layer I) broke four times and was in the collapse zone; The 160 m thick conglomerate (sub key layer II) of the lower formation was broken once, but the structure was not unstable and was in the fracture zone; The 250 m thick super thick conglomerate (the main key layer) of the upper formation has slight bending deformation and is located in the bending subsidence zone. …”
