Collaborating Filtering Method Based on Multiple Data Sources by Fushun Ke, Xiaohui Yao

    Published 2015-07-01
“…The highly efficient utilization of multiple data sources is a key challenge in big data applications.Based on the collaborative filtering recommendation, services pick consumption behaviors of similar clients by clustering to generate the recommendation list.Client clustering contains two units, one is preliminary clustering, and the other is synthetic clustering.Preliminary clustering use client-product score matrixes, telecommunication service identities, client network behaviors and etc.to calculate similarities.Synthetic clustering weights the abundance of data, and then completes the similarity calculation and client clustering.Adjustable weights of data validity were introduced to optimize the system on the basis of click rates and conversion rates of recommendation list.…”

Signal transmission through excitable media by an oscillatory source by Lukas W. Kristensen, Michael Lisby, Mogens H. Jensen, Mathias S. Heltberg

    Published 2025-03-01
“…Through mathematical analysis we explain the frequency dependency and uncover the interplay between stochasticity and external frequency in order to optimize the signaling strength of the system. Finally we investigate the possibilities of bidirectional reactions in the oscillating source, allowing us to define thermodynamic properties of the system and investigate the relationship between free-energy dissipation and precision of signaling, showing nontrivial frequency dependency in coupled cells.…”

Network intelligence standards, open source and industry research by Lingli DENG, Ninglun GU, Xiangyang YUAN, Li YU, Junlan FENG, Chao DENG, Zhiqiang YANG, Tongxu ZHANG, Rongyu WU, Xinpeng ZHANG

    Published 2021-10-01
“…Network intelligence is the deep integration of AI technology and communication network hardware, software, systems, processes, etc.to improve process intelligence, reduce costs, increase efficiency, improve quality, accelerate technology innovation, and enable service agility. The autonomous network proposes to optimize user experience, automate management operations, and maximize resource efficiency by simplifying the network architecture, encapsulating autonomous domains, and providing closed loops for business/network operation control, which clarifies the target architecture and implementation path for network intelligence.Firstly, based on the layered architecture and evaluation framework of the autonomous network, the network intelligent technology system was summerized.Secondly, extensive research on relevant standards organizations, open source communities, industrial collaboration, and R&D and application status were conducted. Finally, gap analysis, collaborative suggestions and summary prospects for guiding the following-up industry development were provided in terms of the application requirements from operators in related practices.…”

Compact source for quadripartite deterministically entangled optical fields by Yanhong Liu, Yaoyao Zhou, Liang Wu, Jiliang Qin, Zhihui Yan, Xiaojun Jia

    Published 2025-01-01
“…Accordingly, two-sided output NOPA-based optical fields were coupled on a beam splitter network to form the quadripartite entangled state, causing the deterministic generation of both the Greenberger–Horne–Zeilinger (GHZ) and the linear cluster states in this compact entanglement source. We also obtained the optimal experimental parameters based on the simulation results, thereby providing a direct reference for experimental implementation. …”

Construction and optimization of ecological security patterns in ecologically fragile areas: a case study of Lanzhou City, China by Jianhong Dong, Lina Li, Wenjin Yang, Benteng Liu, Xinhong Zhang

    Published 2025-08-01
“…Third, the Minimum Cumulative Resistance (MCR) model, GIS Hydrological Analysis module and Spatial Analysis module were used to divide ecological suitability zones, determine ecological corridors, and identify ecological nodes, so as to construct ESPs and propose optimization strategies.ResultsThe results showed as follows: 1 Spatial differentiation of ecological sources (1388.73 km2, 10.61%) predominantly in northwestern and southern regions, contrasting with urban sources (527.66 km2, 4.03%) concentrated along the Yellow River Valley and Qinwangchuan Basin; 2 According to the MCR difference between ecological sources and urban sources, the study area was divided into ecological core zone (ECZ), ecological buffer zone (EBZ), optimized construction zone (OCZ), and suitable construction zone (SCZ), with the proportions of 37.05%, 25.68%, 18.53% and 18.74%, respectively; 3 Based on the theory of “matrix - patch - corridor - node” in landscape ecology, the ESPs of Lanzhou City was constructed with the framework of “One belt, Two rings, Four screens, Six districts and multiple corridors”.DiscussionThe results can provide reference for ecological environment protection and ecosystem restoration in the upper reaches of the Yellow River Basin in China.…”
