Contribution of Range‐Wide and Short‐Scale Chemical Soil Variation to Local Adaptation in a Tropical Montane Forest Tree by Sebastián Arenas, Jorge Cruz‐Nicolás, Gustavo Giles‐Pérez, Josué Barrera‐Redondo, Verónica Reyes‐Galindo, Alicia Mastretta‐Yanes, Erika Aguirre‐Planter, Luis E. Eguiarte, Juan Pablo Jaramillo‐Correa

    Published 2025-07-01
“…Our findings reveal that local adaptation in trees is the result of an intricate interaction between soil chemical properties and the local population's genetic makeup, and that the selective factors driving such adaptation greatly vary and are not necessarily predictable across spatial scales. These results highlight the need to consider edaphic variation in forest genetic studies (including common garden experiments) and in conservation, management and assisted migration programs.…”

Rolling Bearing Fault Diagnosis Based on Recurrence Plot by Zheming Chen, Bin Xu, Zhong Zhang

    Published 2024-01-01
“…Compared to existing methods, this approach leverages the recurrence plot technique to convert vibration signals into color images, which carry more information than grayscale images. For the prediction model, the traditional convolutional neural network is enhanced by integrating bidirectional gated recurrent unit and multi-head attention mechanism, allowing it to capture temporal features alongside the spatial features typically extracted by convolutional neural network. …”

Forensic of video object removal tamper based on 3D dual-stream network by Lizhi XIONG, Mengqi CAO, Zhangjie FU

    Published 2021-12-01
“…In order to solve the problems of inaccurate temporal detection and location of the object removal tampered video, a video tamper forensics method based on 3D dual-stream network was proposed.Firstly, the spatial rich model (SRM) layer was used to extract the high-frequency information from video frames.Secondly, the improved 3D convolution (C3D) network was used as the feature extractor of the dual-stream network to extract the high-frequency information and low-frequency information from the high-frequency frame and the original video frame respectively. Finally, through compact bilinear pooling (CBP) layer, two sets of different feature vectors were fused into one set of feature vectors for classification prediction. The experimental results demonstrate that the classification accuracy of the proposed method in all video frames has an advantage in SYSU-OBJFORG dataset, which makes the temporal detection and location of object removal tampered video more accurate.…”
