Integrated Geologic Modeling of Fault-Block Reservoir: A Case Study of Ss Oil Field
Published 2022-01-01“…The lithofacies model was built within the restrictions of sedimentary facies using the sequential Gaussian simulation (SGS) stochastic modeling approach, which is paired with variogram data analysis to achieve the range value. To obtain the porosity and permeability model, the empirical formula of porosity and permeability, the SGS method, and the variation range value was input into the lithofacies model. …”

Positive selection on rare variants of IGF1R and BRD4 underlying the cold adaptation of wild boar
Published 2025-07-01“…The variant rs341219502 in the IGF1R enhancer and the variant rs327139795 in the BRD4 exon, both of which were under positive selection and nearly fixed in populations from cold regions, suggest they may have originated de novo in these populations. Further analysis indicated that rs341219502 could influence enhancer function, while rs327139795 may affect amino acid alterations. …”

Emergence and characterization of a ST852 Klebsiella quasipneumoniae clinical isolate coharboring blaNDM-1 and blaKPC-2 in China
Published 2025-05-01“…Tracking of the blaKPC-2 plasmids showed they were identified in different species in different countries, including E. coli, Leclercia sp., Pantoea sp., and E. hormaechei. Global analysis data showed 13 ST852 strains were mainly isolated from China (84.62%, 11/13), and the remaining isolates were collected from Switzerland.ConclusionsThis is the first study to identify an ST852 NDM-1-KPC-2 coproducing K. quasipneumoniae clinical isolate. …”

Control Indicators for Typical Persistent Organic Pollutants in Lake Sediments
Published 2025-05-01“…For SCCPs control, a threshold of 900 ng/g was first proposed for non-fishery lakes (derived from ecological risk thresholds), while lakes used for fishery purposes required dynamic adjustments based on surrounding agricultural land data. The research demonstrated three breakthroughs: (1) it established for the first time China’s control indicator system for POPs in lake sediments, filling technical gaps in standards like GB 36600—2018 for dredging projects. (2) It revealed a high spatial correlation (R2>0.85) between POPs and heavy metal pollution in Ya’er Lake, proving that dredging according to existing heavy metal standards could simultaneously control POPs risks, thereby significantly reducing remediation costs. (3) It proposed a “function-pollutant-process” integrated control theory, offering a new paradigm for composite pollution remediation. …”
