Gravitons on the edge by Andreas Blommaert, Sean Colin-Ellerin

    Published 2025-03-01
“…Abstract We study free graviton entanglement between Rindler wedges in the Minkowski vacuum state via the Euclidean path integral. We follow Kabat’s method for computing the conical entropy, using the heat kernel on the cone with the tip removed, whose resulting von Neumann entropy for photons correctly predicted electromagnetic edge modes. …”

Adaptive random early detection algorithm based on network traffic level grade prediction by Debin WEI, Chengsheng PAN, Li YANG, Zuoren YAN

    Published 2023-06-01
“…In view of the problem that the calculation of average queue length and maximum packet drop probability in random early detection algorithm and its variants reflect the changes of network traffic slowly, an adaptive random early detection algorithm based on network traffic level grade prediction was proposed.Based on the statistical characteristics of self-similar network traffic, the transition probability table of network traffic level grade was established, and a grade prediction method of self-similar network traffic level with low complexity and high accuracy was proposed.Furthermore, the prediction results were applied to calculate the average queue length in equal interval and adjust the maximum packet drop probability.Under the condition of fixed and variable bottleneck link capacity, it is found that regardless of the degree of self-similarity of network traffic, the proposed algorithm can improve the throughput and packet loss rate, especially when the Hurst parameter is large and the traffic is light.…”

    摩擦带传动弹性滑动的动力学分析与试验 by 王旭东, 熊平原

    Published 2010-01-01
“…Belts are widely applied to various machine.Elastic sliding is one of the characteristics of friction belt transmission, and it leads to inexact transmission ratio and transmission efficiency decreased of belt drive system. In order to investigate generation mechanism and influencing factor of elastic sliding of belt transmission, dynamic model and kinematics model of elastic deformation of belt are established. The section analysis method indicates that pulling force difference of tight side and loose side of belt is essential reason which brings elastic sliding of belts.Orthogonal tests of the effects initial tension of belt,pulley-belt speed and load on elastic sliding rate of belt are carried out by CQP-B drive test bed.The results show that 3-factor are almost equal importance on sliding rate of belt. The greater initial tension, the lower pulley speed and the smaller load, the less elastic sliding rate of belt, and vice versa.Based on the above research results, the foundation of theory and tests for design of belt transmission system is provided.…”
