Study on catalytic oxidation of low concentration 14CH4 by non-thermal plasma
Published 2025-02-01“…The CH4 treatment performance of the non-thermal plasma before and after the introduction of the catalyst under different discharge voltages, gas flow rates and temperatures were analyzed by the constructed experimental system. The microstructural changes of the catalyst were analyzed by N2 adsorption-desorption isotherm, X-ray diffraction (XRD) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS).ResultsThe introduction of Pd/Al2O3 catalyst can significantly improve CH4 treatment performance in non-thermal plasma, and the CH4 treatment efficiency and CO2 selectivity can reach 100% and 83.7% by increasing the discharge voltage, lowering the reaction temperature and reasonably adjusting the gas flow.ConclusionThe non-thermal plasma and the Pd/Al₂O₃ catalyst exhibit a synergistic effect. …”

Synergistic effect of particle packing method, aggregate saturation levels, and paste content in improving the performance of high volume fine recycled aggregate concrete
Published 2025-05-01“…On using 50% saturated FRCA, the compressive strength, flexural strength, static and dynamic modulus of elasticity, and abrasion resistance, improved by 16%, 14%, 14%, 8%, 13%; and exhibited a lower sorptivity, water permeability, and chloride ingress of 56%, 14%, and 34%, respectively. The microstructural analysis showed that by reducing the saturation level and increasing the paste content a denser interfacial transition zone can be obtained. …”

High Strength–Ductility Synergy of As-Cast B2-Containing AlNbTaTiZr Refractory High-Entropy Alloy Under Intermediate and Dynamic Strain Rates
Published 2025-02-01“…The YS increases to ~1797 MPa under dynamic strain-rate (3.2 × 103 s−1) loadings, which is a ~25 % improvement in strength compared with the deformation at the intermediate strain rate. Microstructural analysis of the deformed specimens reveals the severity of dislocation activity with strain and strain rate that evolves from fine dislocation bands to the formation of localized adiabatic shear bands (ASBs) at the strain rate 3.5 × 103 s−1. …”

A new method for determining factors Influencing productivity of deep coalbed methane vertical cluster wells
Published 2024-12-01“…Predictions using the neural network method were more accurate, with a relative error of less than 10% compared to measured values. 2) Using Kendall's tau-b correlation analysis, the discrete dominant factor was identified as the microstructural position, primarily located in uplifted positive structural zones, with the secondary factor being fracture development, categorized mainly as “well-developed” or “developed.” 3) By combining lasso regression-random forest- decision tree algorithm to iteratively eliminate irrelevant factors, the continuous dominant factors influencing productivity were ranked in descending order as: ash content, average construction discharge rate, total sand volume pumped, flowback rate at gas breakthrough, net pay thickness, acoustic travel time, gamma ray log value, average construction pressure, percentage of 100-mesh sand, and average gas measurement value. …”
