Load balancing method of service cluster based on mean-variance
Published 2017-01-01“…When a large number of concurrent requests are allocated,the load scheduling mechanism is to achieve the load balancing of nodes in the network by minimizing the response time and maximizing the utilization ratio of nodes.In the load balancing algorithm based on genetic algorithm,the fitness function is designed to have an important influence on the load balancing efficiency.A service cluster load balancing method based on mean-variance was proposed to optimize the fitness function.The investment portfolio selection model mean-variance was used to minimize the response time,which was used to get the weight of each server's resource utilization,so as to obtain the optimal allocation combination.This method improves the accuracy and efficiency of the fitness function.Compared with other models in different service environment,the simulation results show that the load balancing algorithm makes the service cluster get a better balance performance in terms of node utilization and response time.…”

Investigation and Application of Water-Saving Monitoring Technology in Public Institutions
Published 2022-01-01“…Considering the characteristics of water use and the current situation of water facilities in public institutions,this study comprehensively employs the Internet of Things (IoT),cloud deployment,databases,three-dimensional (3D) visualization,and other advanced techniques to create a water-saving reconstruction scheme with integrated software and hardware for public institutions.Therefore,a smart water management platform for public institutions is built to implement advanced water-saving concepts and improve the water management level.The main research results are as follows:① By intelligent remote monitoring equipment,the multiclass water measurement network is designed to realize the fine collection of zonal water use data;② this study designs a reconstruction scheme of water facilities and explores the utilization mode of unconventional water sources to improve the utilization efficiency of water resources;③ multiple algorithms and statistical methods are used to analyze the time series of water use data,and thus this study realizes the analysis of pipeline network leakage and damage,identification of water use anomalies,and water-saving statistical analysis,and the investigation of water use laws;④ the platform with functions of monitoring and early warning is established to achieve real-time remote monitoring of water use,statistical analysis of historical water use,and identification and warning of pipe network leakage,so as to detect water anomalies in time and save water.The research results are first applied to the construction of the water-saving institution of the Pearl River Water Resources Commission to build a benchmark for the construction of water-saving institutions in the southern region.On the basis of application experience,the comprehensively integrated monitoring technology for water-saving in public institutions is developed,which provides a new idea for public institutions to save water.…”

Crowd-based collaboration caching mechanism in smart identifier network
Published 2018-12-01“…Smart identifier network (SINET) is an innovative network architecture.Through dynamic collaboration of service resource,function groups and physical components,the network scalability,resource utilization and service quality were effectively improved by SINET,and an effective solution for the development of industrial Internet of things(IoT) could be provided.To promote content delivery in resource-constrained IoT,caching function was introduced in network components by SINET,and the bandwidth waste caused by traffic redundancy in resource-constrained node could be reduced.Therefore,how to efficiently cache content became an important research topic.Based on SINET architecture,a crowd-based collaboration cache (C2Cache) mechanism was proposed in this scheme.According to the actual network topology,the caching function group was dynamically created and optimized by C2Cache,and a function group as crowd minimum unit to execute the maximum benefit cache (MBC) algorithm was defined to maximize the caching space efficiency.With the self-developed emulation system,named EmuStack,the performance of C2Cache was evaluated.The experimental results show that,comparing with LCE,Random,Prob Cache,LCD and Greedy caching mechanisms,the cache hit rate can be improved effectively,then the average access time can be reduced significantly by C2Cache.In the simulated network scenario,the performance increases 15% to 30%.…”
