Determination of the reduced electric field in surface dielectric barrier discharge plasmas
Published 2021-09-01“…The main transport properties of electrons, such as mobility, mean average energy, and diffusion coefficients were calculated using the BOLSIG+ open source software. The dependence of the ratio of intensities of the nitrogen spectral lines on the reduced electric field, the dependence of the E/n on plasma power, and the dependence of the electron energy distribution function (EEDF) on E/n were obtained. …”

Spatiotemporal characteristics of the apparent optical spectrum in the coastal waters of Leizhou Peninsula and their comparative analysis
Published 2025-08-01“…IntroductionThe coastal waters of the Leizhou Peninsula, as an important ecological transition zone in the northern South China Sea, face water quality issues that urgently require effective monitoring methods.MethodsBased on data from 188 stations across four seasons from 2020-2024, this study innovatively proposes a quantile statistical classification method based on mean and standard deviation, and compares results with typical bays at similar latitudes globally.ResultsThe research classifies regional water spectral types into four categories: Type I (17.22%) with high reflection narrow peaks at 570 nm; Type II (35.10%) featuring broad peaks at 540-560 nm; Type III (27.81%) showing gentle distribution across 500-570 nm; and Type IV (19.87%) with decreasing reflectance as wavelength increases, peaking around 500 nm.DiscussionResults indicate this region is dominated by mixed turbid waters (Types II and III accounting for 62.91%), providing scientific basis for water quality monitoring, aquaculture planning, algal bloom identification, and marine functional zoning, thus promoting regional marine ecological protection and sustainable resource utilization.…”

Mankind’s Relationship with the Environment in Jeff VanderMeer’s Annihilation
Published 2023-05-01“…The present study believes that the various aspects of this shattering gives us a glimpse of the kind of relationship we could have with the environment in the Anthropocene, the human epoch. By utilizing the theoretical concepts in key secondary sources – such as Pieter Vermeulen’s Literature and the Anthropocene (2020) and Benjamin Robertson’s None of This Is Normal: The Fiction of Jeff VanderMeer (2018) – the study identifies that various demarcational means fail to fulfill their binary making function due to the vastness and unmappable nature of environments such as Area X. …”
