Two-Stage Robust Optimization Considering the Uncertainty of Sources and Loads in Virtual Power Plants
Published 2025-01-01“…As the proportion of new energy in VPPs continues to rise, the impacts of the uncertainty of internal new energy output and load have become increasingly significant, and the demand for flexible resources has also become more urgent. To address the challenges of system operation optimization and resource allocation caused by the integration of a large amount of renewable energy on the supply side of the energy system into VPPs and the flexible and changeable load on the demand side, this paper proposes a distributed robust optimization method that simultaneously considers the uncertainties of both the source and the load. …”

Portfolio selection and primary user QoS guarantee based resource allocation in cognitive radio networks
Published 2011-11-01“…Inspired by portfolio selection theory,an efficient primary user QoS guaranteed resource allocation algorithm from secondary user interference by using historical channel state information was proposed. This algorithm formulates the risk as optimization objective, and restricts the interference which comes from secondary system to primary users below a mutual interference threshold. Then quadratic programming method is used to solve this optimization problem. Finally, performance comparison between the original algorithm without protection and the proposed algorithm was given.Simulation results illustrate that the proposed algorithm can minimize secondary system risk under an expected transmission rate and guarantee primary user’s QoS.…”

Energy-efficient optimal algorithm based on uplink multi-user very large MIMO system
Published 2015-01-01“…Using the energy efficiency lower bound as the optimization criterion,a resource allocation algorithm was investigated under uplink multi-user very large MIMO systems.Specifically, both the number of antenna arrays at the BS and the transmit data rate at the user are adjusted to maximize the energy efficiency,in which the power consumption accounts for both transmit power and circuit power, meanwhile the BS uses a zero forcing(ZF) receiver. The existence of a unique globally optimal resource allocation solution was demonstrated by exploiting the properties of objective function.Furthermore,by transforming the originally fractional optimization problem into an equivalent subtractive form using the properties of fractional programming,an iterative resource allocation algorithm was developed to achieve the optimum was developed.Simulation results show that the algorithm converge to a near optimal solution only with a small number of iterations.…”

Cross-layer scheduling and dynamic resource allocation for MIMO-OFDMA/SDMA systems with multi-service
Published 2010-01-01“…Cross-layer scheduling and dynamic resource allocation problems were investigated for downlink MIMO-OFDMA/SDMA systems with multi-service.Firstly,a mathematical formulation of the optimization problem was provided with the objective of maximizing the total system throughput under various constraints.Secondly,a user group-ing scheme was proposed utilizing clustering analysis method based on the type of services and the spatial compatibility of multiple users with multiple receive antennas.Thirdly,a new cross-layer scheduling and dynamic resource allocation algorithm was developed based on the proposed user grouping scheme combined with the priorities of different service, which maximizes the total system throughput by maximizing the throughput of each subcarrier.Simulation results show that compared with the existing schemes, the proposed algorithms obtain reasonable throughput performance while provide better QoS requirement for each user of different services.…”
