Service-Chain-Driven Communication and Computing Integration Networking: A Case Study of Levee Piping Hazard Inspection via Remote Sensing
Published 2025-07-01“…Computing power network (CPN) is designed to utilize multi-dimensional resources to complete computing tasks. However, in practical applications, the CPN architecture has difficulty in coordinating cross-domain heterogeneous resources, making it impossible to achieve the real-time and high scalability requirements of computationally intensive and time-sensitive tasks such as levee piping hazard inspection via remote sensing in emergency scenarios. …”

Conditions for the emergence of circumnutations in plant roots.
Published 2021-01-01“…Here we describe a model capable of replicating root growth behaviors, which we used to analyze the role of circumnuntations, revealing their emergence I) under gravitropic stress, as a combination of signal propagation and sensitivity to the signal carriers; II) as a result of the interplay between gravitropic and thigmotropic responses; and III) as a behavioral strategy to detect and react to resource gradients. The latter function requires the presence of a hypothetical internal oscillator whose parameters are regulated by the perception of environmental resources.…”

Major diet of common carp (Cyprinus carpio L.) over different developmental stages in rice-field: Agroecological interactions between fishes and rice in Sichuan, China, based on DN...
Published 2024-12-01“…We examined variations in the dietary compositions of common carp across three developmental stages to capture adaptations to seasonal changes in food resource availability. Additionally, we detected insect pests (species from the genera Macrosteles and Mythimna) and weeds (Eleusine indica, Alternanthera philoxeroides, Mazus japonicus, and Poa annua) in the diets of common carp, confirming the ecological benefits of common carp in rice fields by reducing insect pests and weeds. …”

Factors associated with contrast-associated acute kidney injury in an emergency department: A cohort study in Lebanon.
Published 2025-01-01“…<h4>Background</h4>Contrast-associated acute kidney injury (CA-AKI) is a common problem in hospitals, particularly in low-middle-income countries (LMIC), due to limited resources and a high prevalence of comorbidities. Kidney function evaluation using serum creatinine levels before contrast administration leads to increased length of stay and delayed patient care. …”
