Performance analysis for cooperative NOMA networks based SWIPT with adaptive power splitting
Published 2023-01-01“…In order to improve the spectrum effectiveness, decrease the power consumption of wireless communication system, for a two-way cooperative non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) network with simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT), an adaptive power splitting scheme of SWIPT was proposed.Based on the decode-and-forward protocol and the users’ distance information, the successive interference cancellation was carried out at the relay to decode the users’ messages and harvest the energy from the sources.An adaptive power splitting scheme was proposed based on users’ channel state information, which the relay could successfully decode the users’ information and harvest the most energy from the sources.Based on the harvested energy, the relay forwarded the decoded information of the users in the next time slot.According to the proposed adaptive power splitting scheme, the overall outage probability, end-to-end outage probability, and the diversity gain at high signal-to-noise ratio were derived.Compared with three-way cooperative orthogonal multiple access network with fixed power splitting of SWIPT, the proposed adaptive power splitting of SWIPT for two-way cooperative NOMA networks can achieve much better outage performance.…”

Sparse signal transmission under lossy wireless links based on double process of compressive sensing
Published 2017-04-01“…In resource-limited wireless sensor networks,links with poor quality hinder its large-scale applications seriously.Thanks to the inherent sparse property of signals in WSN,the framework of sparse signal transmission based on double process of compressive sensing was proposed,providing an insight into a new way of real-time,accurate and energy-efficient sparse signal transmission.Firstly,the random packet loss during transmission under lossy wireless links was modeled as a linear dimension-reduced measurement process of CS (a passive process of CS).Then,considering that a large packet was often adopted in WSN for higher transmission efficiency,a random linear dimension-reduced projection (a simple source coding operation) was employed at the sender node (an active process of CS) to prevent block data loss.Now,the raw signal could be recovered from the lossy data at the receiver node using CS reconstruction algorithms.Furtherly,according to the theory of CS reconstruction and the formula of packet reception rate in wireless communication,the minimum compression ratio and the maximum packet length allowed were obtained.Extensive simulations demonstrate that the reliability of data transmission and its accuracy,the data transmission volume,the transmission delay and energy consumption could be greatly optimized by means of proposed method.…”

Published 2022-06-01“…With the development of the wireless communication technology and sensing technology, various technologies based on wireless sensor networks are applied.These technologies are widely used in the fields of intelligent agriculture, intelligent transportation, fire rescue and so on.Node localization technology is one of the basic technologies of wireless sensor networks.Location information is a part of the sensing data, which determines the specific measures to be taken in the next step.Due to the complexity of the three-dimensional (3D) space localization environment, the application of the plane positioning method in 3D space will have some limitations.Aiming at above problems, the weighted hybrid regression location algorithm WMR-SKR based on a 3D Voronoi diagram was studied.The localization algorithm was divided into two stages: offline training and online testing.The 3D space was divided into Voronoi diagrams according to the anchor nodes in the network.In the offline training stage, the sequence composed of the coordinates of the anchor nodes and Voronoi cell vertices was used as the training set for training.In the online test stage, the coordinates of unknown nodes in the network were predicted through the trained localization model.Simulation results show that the WMR-SKR algorithm can effectively reduce the node localization error and improve the node localization speed in 3D space.…”
