Res-DNN based signal detection algorithm for end-to-end MIMO systems by Guoquan LI, Yonghai XU, Jinzhao LIN, Zhengwen HUANG

    Published 2022-03-01
“…Deep learning can improve the effect of signal detection by extracting the inherent characteristics of wireless communication data.To solve the tradeoff between the performance and complexity of MIMO system signal detection, an end-to-end MIMO system signal detection scheme based on deep learning was proposed. The encoder and the decoder based on residual deep neural network replace the transmitter and the receiver of the wireless communication system respectively, and they were trained in an end-to-end manner as a whole.Firstly, the features of the input data were extracted by encoder, then the communication model was established and was sent to the zero forcing detector for preliminary detection. Finally, the detection signal was reconstructed through the decoder.Simulation results show that the proposed detection scheme is superior to the same type of algorithm, and the detection performance is significantly better than that of the MMSE detection algorithm at the expense of a certain time complexity.…”

Design and implementation of wireless multimedia sensor network node based on DSP and binocular vision by Yun-zhou ZHANG, Pei JIANG, Liang GAO, Li-qiang LI

    Published 2014-12-01
“…In order to meet the requirement of multimedia information acquisition in wireless sensor network,a new wire-less multimedia sensor node is designed and implemented with the high-performance DSP processor as the core.ZigBee module is used to implement the wireless communication. In virtue of the powerful computing ability and peripheral in-terfaces of DSP processor, the multimedia node owns binocular vision and various sensors such as accelerometer.There-fore,it can attain the real-time perception of environmental information and acquire image/video data.Based on the Zig-Bee protocol, the sensor is able to fulfill short-distance wireless communication and monitoring duty in indoor environ-ment.Experimental results show that the multimedia sensor node designed can accurately obtain and handle the syntheti-cal sensing data in real time.It is suitable for the application of wireless multimedia sensor network.…”

Base station sleep mechanism based on power consumption and energy cost balance by Dongsheng HAN, Bing ZHENG, Zhixiong CHEN

    Published 2017-07-01
“…Deploying dense network in 5G system increases the number of nodes, which leads to a sharp increase in power consumption of wireless communication system, aggravates the economic burden of mobile network operator and exacerbates the emission of CO2.Therefore,considering the number of candidate base station (BS) group and the relative position of the BS supplied by new energy,a comprehensive power consumption model in wireless communication system was investigated in terms of the power consumption and economical level.A base station sleep algorithm based on power consumption and energy cost balance was proposed to achieve a tradeoff between them, which selected candidate groups according to the corresponding power consumption and then determined the active group by choosing the cheapest ones.Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can significantly reduce energy cost of communication bases system although it leads to a negligible increase in power consumption.…”

Analysis of super-long and sparse feature in pseudo-random sequence based on similarity by Chun-jie CAO, Jing-zhang SUN, Zhi-qiang ZHANG, Long-juan WANG, Meng-xing HUANG

    Published 2016-10-01
“…Similarity analysis of pseudo-random sequence in wireless communication networks is a research hotspot problem in the domain of information warfare.Based on the difficulties in super-long sequence, extremely sparse feature, and futilities in engineering application for real-time processing exist in similarity analysis of sequence in wireless net-work,a method of similarity analysis of sequence in a certain margin of misacceptance probability was proposed.Firstly, the similarity probability distribution of real-random sequence was theoretically analyzed.Secondly, according to the standard of NIST SP 800-22,the randomness of pseudo-bitstream was analyzed and the validity of pseudo-bitstream was judged. Finally, similarity was analyzed and verified by combining super-long pseudo-random sequence in real wireless communication networks. The results indicate that the lower bound of similarity value is 0.62 when misacceptance prob-ability uncertainty at about 1%.Above conclusion is considerable importance from the significance and theoretical values in network security domains, such as protocol analysis, traffic analysis, intrusion detection and others.…”
