Research on secret key generation based on wireless channel characteristics in body area network by Jingjing HUANG

    Published 2021-12-01
“…Wireless body area network (WBAN) is a human-centered wireless network. With limitations of power and computation capabilities of WBAN, the significant challenge of ensuring security is how to generate a shared key between two entities based on a lightweight symmetric cryptography. To investigate this issue, a secret key generation scheme in ultra-wideband (UWB) WBAN was designed. In this scheme, the difference of multipath relative delay and its average value were chosen as common random source to reduce key mismatch probability.Furthermore, with the aid of relay, secret key generation rate could be increased.Simulation and test results demonstrate that the proposed scheme can achieve a good tradeoff between key match probability and key generation rate.Furthermore, security analysis of the scheme was also provided to validate its feasibility.…”

Security versus reliability analysis for multi-eavesdropper cooperation wireless networks with best relay by Mei-ling LI, Zeng-shou DONG, Gang-fei WANG, Zhao-ming LU

    Published 2017-10-01
“…Physical-layer security could be used to effectively combat eavesdroppers and the transmission reliability of the main link could be improved.A wireless relay network with multiple both decode and forward eavesdroppers and relays were considered,in the presence of the link from source to destination.A best relay selection scheme based on multieavesdropper’s cooperation was proposed, and the outage probability and the intercept probability was deduced under both schemes without relay and with best relay. Then, the security and reliability influenced by different relay selection schemes were analyzed. The simulation results show that the achievable channel capacity at the destination node and the system outage probability are directly affected by different relay selection scheme.Lower system outage probability can be achieved by the proposed scheme, and the system outage probability and intercept probability are both decreased with the increase of the number of relays. The intercept probability increases with the increase of the number of eavesdroppers, which, however, can be reduced by increasing the number of relays to ensure the main link’s reliable transmission.…”

DropBlock based bimodal hybrid neural network for wireless communication modulation recognition by Yan GAO, Jian SHI, Shengyu MA, Bolin MA, Guangxue YUE

    Published 2022-05-01
“…As an intermediate step of signal detection and demodulation, automatic modulation recognition played a momentous role in wireless communication system.Aiming at the low recognition accuracy of existing automatic modulation recognition methods, a bimodal hybrid neural network (BHNN) was proposed, which utilized complementary gain information contained in multiple modes to enrich feature dimensions. The improved residual network was connected in parallel with the bidirectional gated loop unit to construct a bimodal hybrid neural network model, and the spatial and temporal features of the signal were extracted respectively. The DropBlock regularization algorithm was introduced to effectively suppress the influence of over fitting, gradient disappearance and gradient explosion on the recognition accuracy in the process of network training.Using bimodal data input, the spatial and temporal characteristics of signals were fully utilized, and the network depth was reduced through parallel connection. The model convergence was accelerated, and the recognition accuracy of modulated signals was improved. In order to verify the effectiveness of the model, two public datasets were used to simulate the model. The results show that BHNN has high recognition accuracy and strong stability on the two datasets, and the recognition accuracy can reach 89% and 93.63% respectively under high signal-to-noise ratio.…”
