Polar codes and polar processing for 6G wireless systems
Published 2020-05-01“…As the first type of channel code achieving the channel capacity, polar codes are an important candidate for the 6G data transmission.A polarized processing framework for the 6G systems was proposed. In this framework,in order to fulfill the requirement of ultra-reliable transmission,a high-performance coding scheme of concatenated polar code was designed to approach the channel capacity with finite-length.Then,the polar coded MIMO scheme was devised to match the requirement of the high spectrum efficiency. Finally, the scheme of polar coded non-orthogonal multiple access was investigated to improve the transmission capacity. All these schemes indicate that polar processing can dramatically boost the performance of 6G wireless transmission and become a promising direction.…”

Outage performance analysis of wireless powered railway Internet of things
Published 2020-09-01“…Based on the scenario of railway Internet of things, the system outage performance of the relay network was analyzed, which was assisted with the power beacon (PB),using the half-duplex decode-and-forward relay mode over the Rician fading channel. In view of the equipment supply problems in railway scenes, such as difficult battery replacing, high management overhead, difficult wiring, etc.,the wireless energy collection was applied to railway scenes, providing sufficient and stable energy for the energy-constrained wireless equipment, thus solving the equipment supply problems in traditional railways.Considering that the source node and the relay node in the network were energy limited nodes, and the energy of the information transmission came from the radio frequency signal transmitted from the PB deployed on the train. The source node and the relay node collected energy from the PB,and the source node sent information to the relay node by using the collected energy, and then the relay node forwarded the information received to the destination node. The closed-form expressions of the network end-to-end outage probability and the throughput were derived. The analytical results were demonstrated by Monte Carlo simulation. And based on this analysis, the impact of the ratio of transmitting power of the PB to noise, the Rician K-factor,the time switching factor, transmission rate and relative position on the end-to-end outage probability and throughput were studied. When the train is in the middle of the source node and the relay node, the system can obtain better outage and throughput performance.…”

TCP-friendly streaming medium transmitting mechanism in wireless network
Published 2007-01-01“…To maintain Streaming media services flows friendly to TCP flows and h/ld the QoS of the streaming service in wireless networks,an adaptive rate control mechanism was proposed.Packet loss between.etwork congestion and wireless link error was distinguished to ’et the accurate state of the networks by the receiver.Occupati/n of the receiver buffer, which reflected how long the temporar)ly stored streaming medium data could be played, was also combined into this algorithm. And tradeoff between TCP-friendly and QoS of streaming media service was achieved through multi-level rate adjustment according to packet loss rate of congestion and queue length of receiver. The results of simulations show that good throughput was gained compared with TCP and TFRC,at most reaching 2M,in condition of 0-0.1 link drop rate,2 and 32 conncections. As link error and congestion was seperated by WTFCC,therefor, end to end packet drop rate was higher than TCP and TFRC,and also of higer throughput.Nomalized throughput indicated that WTFCC was friendly to TCP.…”

Research on low-complexity XL-MIMO wireless transmission design
Published 2023-08-01“…Extra-large scale MIMO (XL-MIMO) can meet the requirement of high spectral efficiency in 6G communication, but also faces the challenge caused by the increase in computational complexity. It is found that the unique spatial non-stationary characteristics of XL-MIMO channel brings new possibilities for low-complexity wireless transmission design.Firstly, starting from the near-field propagation effect, the research results of XL-MIMO channel characteristics analysis and channel modeling were combed, and the causes of spatial non-stationarity were deeply discussed.Furthermore, the concept of array visibility region (VR) in XL-MIMO was introduced, and the low-complexity wireless transmission design combined with VR information was discussed. Then, from the perspective of sub-array partition and distributed signal processing, the implementation of XL-MIMO low-complexity system architecture was introduced, and the corresponding design schemes were summarized. Finally, the future research direction was prospected.…”
