Spatio-temporal Variation Characteristics and Influencing Factors of Bank Collapse in Reservoir Area of Jinghong Hydropower Station
Published 2020-01-01“…The reservoir area of Jinghong hydropower station belongs to the medium mountain canyon landform with variable stratum lithologies and complex geological structures.By investigation and review of bank collapse in the reservoir area in 2009,2012,2014 and 2019,this paper summarizes and analyzes the temporal-spatial variation characteristics and influencing factors of bank collapse. The results show that:①Up to the survey period in 2019,there are 299 bank collapses in the reservoir area. The bank collapse with volume between 10~100 m3 occupies the first place,130 bank collapses stop developing and 169 bank collapses are developing;②The number of bank collapse is increasing year by year;the bank collapses are mainly distributed in the reservoir section with steep terrain, thicker loose layer and strong weathered rock;the reservoir area is mainly characterized by small-scale bank collapse, but there is a trend of gradual expansion;the increase of bank collapses which are developing is obviously slowing down and the bank collapses in earlier stage show a gradually stable state;③Specific topography, thicker loose layer, economic trees which are unfavorable to soil and water conservation, and frequent human production activities are the main factors for bank collapses.…”

Quantitative Dynamic Calculation Method of Ecological Compensation in Core River Basin Based on Pollutant Reduction Cost
Published 2022-01-01“…In a core basin, the city agglomeration and developed economy often lead to huge resource consumption, which seriously damages the surrounding ecological resources. As the traditional quantitative dynamic calculation method of ecological compensation is greatly affected by the natural environment in the core basin, the accuracy of the quantitative calculation is poor. Therefore,a quantitative dynamic calculation method of ecological compensation for a core basin based on the reduction cost of pollutants is proposed. In this paper, the gray parameters of any pixel in a core basin image are described, and the feature extraction matrix is smoothed by the filtering function.By judging the quality of ecological compensation characteristics, the ecological compensation features in the core basin are extracted. Moreover, the gray threshold for the classification of ecological compensation features and the use conditions of parameters are given, and the plane component of the optimal ecological compensation feature is calculated. Then, the calculation method of pollutant reduction costs is applied to evaluate the loss caused by environmental pollution and vegetation damage in the core basin, and with the calculation of water conservation in the ecosystem, the ecological compensation of the core basin is calculated quantitatively and dynamically. The experimental results reveal that the method improves the accuracy of quantitative dynamic calculation of ecological compensation and shortens the calculation time. This indicates that the calculation performance of this method is superior, and it can provide accurate ecological supplementary suggestions and a basis for the ecological compensation analysis in the core area.…”

Analysis of Water-saving Potential and Contribution Rate of Beverage Manufacturing Industry in Beijing
Published 2022-01-01“…Among the various industrial industries in Beijing, the beverage manufacturing industry has relatively low water use efficiency and is also a major industrial water user in Beijing. For the implementation of the new development concept and the construction of a water-saving city, the economical and intensive utilization of water resources in Beijing has put forward new requirements on regional industrial development.Regarding the incomplete calculation theory and the lack of a core calculation method for the water-saving potential of the beverage manufacturing industry in Beijing, this paper studies the ways to further water saving for the beverage manufacturing industry on the basis of analyzing the current production and water consumption situations of the beverage manufacturing industry in Beijing.Furthermore, the theoretical support for the water-saving potential is explored, and a calculation model is built to scientifically analyze the water-saving potential and contribution rate of product structure adjustment and water use efficiency improvement of the industry. The research shows that the three major beverage products in Beijing, namely carbonated beverages (soda),packaged drinking water, and fruit and vegetable juice beverages, have 3.32 million m3 of water-saving potential, and the water-saving contribution rate of water use efficiency improvement reaches 97.4%,indicating that the production structure of the industry can be further optimized and adjusted. The research results can facilitate Beijing to implement the “National Water Conservation Action Plan” and ultimately contribute to the construction of a water-saving society.…”
