Thiol-Disulfide Homeostasis in Noise-Induced Hearing Loss in Rats
Published 2024-11-01“…Methods: The study was carried out with a total of 28 female albino rats in 4 groups: group 1 (control group) included rats that were not exposed to noise or any study treatment; in group 2, following noise exposure, rats received 2 mg of dexamethasone per kilogram of body weight via the intramuscular route for 5 days; in Group 3, rats were exposed to noise and received a saline solution for 5 days, in a volume (0.15 cc) matched to that of dexamethasone administered in group 2; and in group 4, rats were exposed to noise, and blood samples were collected during the early phase to assess thiol-disulfide homeostasis without administering any treatment. …”

Mechanism of Electroacupuncture Mediated Macrophages Infiltration on Dorsal Root Ganglion to Alleviate Paclitaxel-Induced Neuropathic Pain
Published 2023-12-01“…The model group and the EA group received intraperitoneal injection of 2 mg/kg paclitaxel on the 1st, 3rd, 5th and 7th day, respectively, while the control group was injected with the same volume of solvent. After injection (at the 9th day), the EA group received electroacupuncture at bilateral Zusanli acupoint (ST 36) with frequency of 15 Hz, intensity of 1 mA, 30 minutes a time, once a day, lasting for seven days. …”

Optimal radiation dose to induce an abscopal effect by combining carbon-ion radiotherapy and anti-CTLA4 antibody
Published 2025-02-01“…In the low-dose group, the effect on primary tumour control was slightly weaker than that in the high-dose treatment group, but significant suppressive effects on both distant unirradiated tumours and metastases were observed following 3 Gy CIRT combined with anti-CTLA4 antibody treatment. Specifically, the volume of distant unirradiated tumours decreased by 40 % compared with that of the control group, and no lung metastasis was observed. …”
