    “…HTTP adaptive streaming (HAS) has become the standard for adaptive video streaming service.In changing network environments,current hardcoded-based rate adaptation algorithm was less flexible,and it is insufficient to consider the quality of experience (QoE).To optimize the QoE of users,a rate control approach based on Q-learning strategy was proposed.the client environments of HTTP adaptive video streaming was modeled and the state transition rule was defined.Three parameters related to QoE were quantified and a novel reward function was constructed.The experiments were employed by the Q-learning rate control approach in two typical HAS algorithms.The experiments show the rate control approach can enhance the stability of rate switching in HAS clients.…”

    “…For human action recognition,an algorithm for classifying human action based on back propagation (BP) neural network was proposed.Firstly,singular value decomposition (SVD) was used to extract the singular value of each frame of the video.Then each row of a matrix was composed of the singular value of each video.Every single row of the matrix is a sample of human action.Secondly,the principle component analysis (PCA) algorithm was proposed to remove correlation and reduce dimension.Then the linear discriminant analysis (LDA) algorithm was applied to matrix processed by PCA to make samples linearly separable.Finally,the back propagation neural network was used as a classifier.The experimental results show that the proposed method,compared with nearest neighbor classifier and K-nearest neighbor (kNN) classifier,has a higher recognition rate.…”

    “…In versatile video coding (VVC), a variety of advanced coding tools work together to achieve excellent coding performance.Compared with high efficient video coding (HEVC), the transform coefficient distribution (TCD) of VVC has sharper peaks.In order to solve this phenomenon, the probability density function (PDF) of frame-level TCD was modeled, and a frame-level coding distortion prediction model based on statistical modeling was proposed, which modeled frame-level distortion as a function of TCD distribution parameters and quantization parameters.The experimental results show that compared with the Laplace distribution and Cauchy distribution, the generalized Gaussian distribution has the best performance in TCD probability density fitting.The prediction results based on the generalized Gaussian distribution distortion prediction model are closest to the actual coding distortion.…”
