AXIAL TENSILE STRENGTH ANALYSIS OF UNBONDED FLEXIBLE PIPE CONTAINING COMPOSITE TENSILE ARMORS by MA JinSheng, DU FaXi, LUO Dan

    Published 2020-01-01
“…As offshore oil industry moves into ultra-deep water, replacing the steel tensile armors of unbonded flexible pipe with composite is becoming a scheme that can effectively reduce weight and provide better mechanical properties. The anisotropic parameters of composite are obtained by meso-mechanical method, then a model of axisymmetric structure response for composite flexible pipe with composite armored layer is established, which is based on both thick-wall cylinder theory and the differential equation of curved beam, and also the algorithm of cyclic iterative is combined.Failure models of different type of flexible pipes are obtained, and iso-strength method is used for composite armored pipe.A case study shows that composite armors can effectively enhance the tensile strength of unbonded flexible pipe while effectively reduce the overall weight. Results state that volume fraction, elastic modulus and strength of fiber are the important parameters which affect the axial stiffness and tensile strength of unbonded flexible pipe.…”

A survey of key issues of URLLC in industrial internet of things by Han WANG, Lei DIAO, Mengling WANG, Xin RONG, Jiamin LI, Xiaohu YOU

    Published 2022-05-01
“…In the age of 6G internet of things, massive terminal devices are connected intelligently to explore environmental information to improve life quality and create a more intelligent world. With the development of economic society and industry, the number of industrial nodes in the industrial internet of things (IIoT) grows at an significant speed. The real-time transmission and exchange of information between these industrial nodes puts forward higher requirements for communication delay and reliability.Under limited time-frequency resources and strict communication quality requirements, in order to ensure ultra-reliable and low-latency communication (URLLC) of massive terminals in IIoT, it is necessary to analyze the existing key problems from the aspects of low delay, reliability, energy efficiency, spectrum efficiency and scalability. In the scenario of IIoT, combined with the characteristics and requirements of URLLC, the key issues of communication in IIoT were studied, including challenges and opportunities in active user detection, random access, resource allocation and convergence of communication and computation. After summarizing and analyzing the key issues and existing technologies, the future research direction was proposed.…”

A joint optimization method of multi backhaul link selection and power allocation in 6G by Qingyang LI, Xueting LI, Xiaorong ZHU

    Published 2023-06-01
“…Aiming at the problem of limited single backhaul link capability of base stations in hotspot areas of the 6G system, a joint optimization method was proposed for multi-backhaul link selection and power allocation in an elastic coverage system, so that the data packets can select the appropriate backhaul link and transmission power according to their service characteristics and link conditions.Firstly, the transmission delay of data packets on the small cell sub-queue was analyzed by using queuing theory. Then, the optimization objective was modeled with the maximum delay tolerance elasticity value. Finally, the optimization problem were solved by the Hungarian algorithm and the Lagrangian duality and gradient descent method. The simulation results show that, compared with the traditional algorithm, the algorithm proposed reduces the average delay of URLLC (ultra-reliable and low-latency communication) service data packets and eMBB (enhanced mobile broadband) service data packets by 17% and 14% respectively, and effectively improves the network transmission rate.…”

2D-TDOA passive location based on geodetic longitude and latitude by Fangli MA, Yang XU, Peng XU

    Published 2019-05-01
“…Because of the surface of the earth is not a plane, there may be some errors in the conventional ultra-short wave passive TDOA location method using plane coordinates. In order to use the geodetic longitude and latitude coordinates directly for TDOA location,a series of spherical distance TDOA location models based on spherical two-point distance calculation were proposed. The optimal location models were adopted, and a grid point search method was applied with model validation. The numerical results show that the spherical precise calculation model has the smallest positioning error, which is independent of latitude.Positioning error of the spherical approximation calculation model is worse than the first model, and increases with the increase of latitude. The equidistant orthographic cylindrical projection model has a small positioning error in the low latitudes. However,it has a large positioning error in the middle and high latitudes. The equiangular orthographic cylindrical projection model and the equiareal orthographic cylindrical projection model have a relatively large positioning error, which is around 26% at any latitude and is not applicable.…”
