    Published 2016-06-01
“…As one of the key technologies in 5G networks,ultra-dense wireless network is utilized to approach the future 1 000 ultra-high traffic volume.Nevertheless, the dense deployment of network nodes would result in severe interference, and thus interference management was proposed as the big principle behind 5G ultra-dense wireless networks research.Firstly, the interference management schemes were classifed from two aspects:avoidance and utilization. Then,an intelligent interference management architecture was proposed to accommodate the development trend of future wireless networks in terms of intelligence and heterogeneity in order to realize the dynamic tightly coupled interference management of wireless network environment and interference management.Taking the intrinsic relationship between interference management and resource management into consideration, three cutting-edge interference management schemes were introduced, which could significantly improve the network resource utilization and the network capacity.…”

Application research of distribution network based on quantum secure communication and 5G hard-slicing private network by Zhongping WU, Lujie WANG, Jianuo XU, Yanbo WANG, Liwei ZHANG

    Published 2022-01-01
“…With its significant advantages of ultra-low latency, ultra-high bandwidth, and ultra-large-scale connection, 5G technology effectively compensates for the shortcomings of traditional optical fiber communication in the distribution network field, and provides a new network communication method for power distribution applications. However, the information security issues brought by the applications of 5G technology have appeared gradually.Based on this, a distribution network application scheme based on quantum secure communication and 5G hard-slicing private network was proposed. An end-to-end 5G hard-slicing private network for distribution network services was customized, and ensuring data transmission security by quantum secure communication technology. And this scheme has been deployed and verified in the actual distribution service network scenario, and the results showed that the average delay of 5G hard-slicing private network was 16.89 ms, the download sending and receiving rates were 380 Mbit/s and 371 Mbit/s, respectively, the upload sending and receiving rates were 31.2 Mbit/s and 30 Mbit/s, which meets the communication requirements of distribution network applications.Based on quantum secure communication technology, the quantum bit error rate was 0.75%, and the transmitted data can be encrypted and decrypted smoothly, which verified the feasibility of quantum secure communication and 5G hard-slicing technology in the distribution network.…”

    Published 2021-12-01
“…To meet the ultra-low latency and ultra-high reliability requirements of users in the future mobile Internet, the wireless caching technology was combined with Cell-Free massive MIMO systems. The caching model was designed based on AP cooperative caching and regional popularity evaluation. The transmission delay expression involving AP clustering, cooperative caching, and regional popularity was derived, and the content placement problem was expressed as total content transmission delay minimization.Through the demonstration of the NP-hard and submodular monotony of the optimization problem, the greedy algorithm-based optimization strategy was proposed.Simulation results show that the proposed strategy can effectively reduce the content transmission delay and improve the cache hit rate.…”

Research on wireless access technologies for Internet of things by Jianchi ZHU, Bei YANG, Peng CHEN, Xiaoming SHE, Qi BI

    Published 2018-06-01
“…Mobile Internet and Internet of things (IoT) are two major driving forces for the future development of mobile communications and will provide broad prospects for 5G.IoT expands the range of mobile communications services, evolving from “Internet of people” to “Internet of everything”.5G IoT scenarios include low-power massive-connections and low-latency high-reliability.Low-power massive-connections scenario has the characteristics of small data packets, low power consumption, mass connections. It not only requires the network to have the ability to support over a hundred billion connections, but also ensures the terminal’s ultra-low power consumption and ultra-low cost.Low-latency high-reliability scenario is primarily for applications, such as Internet of vehicle, autonomous driving, industrial control and remote medical.Such applications requires extremely high requirements on latency and reliability. They require to provide millisecond-level end-to-end latency and be close to 100% service reliability.Firstly, the technologies for low-power massive-connections scenario were introduced, including LoRa (long range wide area network) and SigFox operating on unlicensed spectrum and EC-GSM (extended coverage-GSM),LTE-M and NB-IoT (narrow band Internet of things) operating on licensed spectrum. Then,an overview of service requirements and performance metrics for ultra-reliable low latency communications was presented. Finally, the development of ITS (intelligent transport system) technologies for both 3GPP V2X (vehicle-to-everything) and IEEE DSRC (dedicated short range communication) standards was described.…”
