Power control strategy with joint of multi-packet reception and fuzzy logic control
Published 2015-02-01“…In order to meet the needs of energy saving in wireless networks,a power control strategy with joint of multi-packet reception and fuzzy logic was proposed.Firstly,based on the power control with successive interference cancellation (SIC),transmission power was divided into several decodable power levels.Secondly,fuzzy logic control algorithm was adopted to select the optimal transmission power for SIC.In addition,three parameters were designed as fuzzy logic control inputs for power selection,which were the distance between transmitters and receivers,the number of neighboring nodes and the residual energy of transmitters.Simulation results show that power control strategy with joint of multi-packet reception and fuzzy logic control not only betters average network throughput than other power control strategy for SIC,but also saves more energy so that the network lifecycle would be significantly extended.…”

Joint beamforming for multiuser SCFDE block transmission system in frequency selective MIMO channels
Published 2013-03-01“…Single carrier frequency domain equalization (SCFDE) joint beamforming in frequency selective multiple input multiple output (MIMO) channels under the multi-user scenario was analyzed.Firstly,the frequency domain beamforming was transformed to a time domain filtering beamforming.By using the time domain model,the signal to interference plus noise(SINR)expression of every receiver at the decision point was shown after the frequency domain minimum mean square error(MMSE)equalization.Under a given quality of service(QoS)constraint of every receiver,the optimal beamforming coefficients minimizing the total transmitted power from all transmitters were found through solving a convex semidefinite programming (SDP) problem relaxed from a nonconvex quadratically constrained quadratic programming(QCQP)problem.Simulation demonstrates that the total transmitted power from all transmitters varies regularly with different settings deployed by the model.…”

Preprocessing optimization algorithm based on partial channel information feedback in wideband OFDM systems
Published 2011-01-01“…To mitigate inter-block interference(IBI) and inter-carrier interference(ICI) in an orthogonal frequency divi-sion multiplexing(OFDM) system,pre-processing approaches at transmitters based on full channel state information(CSI) had been proposed,the performance improved and receiver simplied.However,feeding full CSI back would oc-cupy scarce bandwidth and was impractical sometimes for the systems with high real-time demand.To deal with this problem,a preprocessing optimization based on partial CSI feedback was investigated and three selected preprocessing approaches of optimization matrix were developed and tested.Computer simulation results showed that the proposed op-timization algorithm can effectively cancel IBI and ICI and significantly improve the performance in wideband OFDM systems.Compared with the pre-processing approaches at transmitters based on full CSI,under the condition of meeting the demand for quality of services(QoS),the proposed scheme has high spectral efficiency and low feedback and com-putation complexity.…”

Optimization of the Cathode Arc Plasma Deposition Processing Parameters of ZnO Film Using the Grey-Relational Taguchi Method
