Baldwin, l’homotextualité et les identités plurielles : une rencontre à l’avant-garde
Published 2005-01-01“…Finally, it sheds a new light on Black identity, not only to be transmitted but also to be translated and transformed. Using psychoanalytical, sociological and semiological frames, this essay aims at showing how the process of writing in Baldwin’s fictional and non-fictional works inverts binarisms and dislocates the origin so as to oppose every attempt at defining identity. …”

Patterns in the influence of funding and reimbursement on the development and implementation of healthcare innovation: A systematic review
Published 2025-03-01“…This results in a ‘financial fugle model’ in which the role of funding and reimbursement is analyzed in three consecutive phases of the innovation process: development, translation, and implementation. From the review of 157 included articles, four key findings stand out: 1) shortcomings in national reimbursement systems result in local fragmentation in the implementation of innovations; 2) lack of evidence on costs and benefits in financial decision-making may harm the development and implementation of potentially value-enhancing innovations; 3) more disruptive innovations encounter larger financial barriers; and 4) non-financial factors, including innovator characteristics and institutional support, are essential in overcoming financial barriers. …”

Mt. Etna Tilt Signals Associated with February 6, 2023, M=7.8 and M=7.5 Turkey Earthquakes
Published 2023-01-01“…We compared tilt and seismic data for a co–located station evidencing a very similar waveform that highlight how tiltmeters respond to translational acceleration rather than ground tilt during a teleseism, suggesting that, for waves with this period, they may behave as horizontal seismometers. …”

The Gluon Sivers Distribution: Status and Future Prospects
Published 2015-01-01“…Because single transverse spin asymmetries in p↑p→πX provide only indirect information about the gluon Sivers function through the relation with the quark-gluon and tri-gluon Qiu-Sterman functions, current data from hadronic collisions at RHIC have not yet been translated into a solid constraint on the gluon Sivers function. …”

Dynamic regimes in planetary cores: $\tau $–$\ell $ diagrams
Published 2024-05-01“…We highlight the role of the available convective power in controlling this dynamics, together with the relevant force balance, for which we derive a very telling $\tau $–$\ell $ translation. Several scenarios are constructed and discussed for the Earth’s core, shedding new light on the width of convective columns, and on the force equilibria to be considered. …”

Trento Social Commons. Community Engagement as Tools for New Physical and Cultural Relationships Between Rural and Peripheral Spaces
Published 2018-08-01“…Moreover, urbanization expansion process in the Alps is strongly related with temporary dynamics depending from touristic fluxes, implementation of new spaces of mobility, economic development and living. In a context of extreme land scarcity like in the Alps, urban sprawl and dwellers' search for nature proximity to homes and residential areas put territorial governance instruments under pressure and opens up complex questions.Beside other experiences between urban and peripheral spaces, the essay aims at speculating that typical rural communitarian governance models are able to strengthen collective interests over individual ones and can be translated into urban governance models by public authorities. …”
