L’énonciation aphorisante dans l’article de presse : une syntaxe sous contrôle(s)
Published 2015-06-01“…By doing so, the journalist is supposed to link the quoted words to an original speaker for every occurrence of direct speech inserted in a newspaper article.Due to the choice of direct speech as a form of reported speech, the journalist, namely the reporter, can adapt the original speech sequence in some way or another so that it might easily be embedded within the body of the article or within the peritext. The current study focuses on “secondary aphorisms” (Maingueneau 2012, our translation) that are present in the headlines of newspaper articles. …”

Intraoperative Imaging in Ovarian Cancer: Fact or Fiction?
Published 2011-07-01“…These targets were selected based on expression rates in ovarian cancer, availability of an antibody or substrate aimed at the target approved by the Food and Drug Administration, and the likelihood of translation to human use. The purpose of this review is to present requirements for intraoperative imaging and to discuss possible tumor-specific targets for ovarian cancer, prioritizing for targets with substrates ready for introduction into the clinic.…”

LFA-1: A potential key player in microglia-mediated neuroprotection against oxygen-glucose deprivation in vitro.
Published 2025-01-01“…Promising results for neuroprotection by inhibition of integrins with drugs such as natalizumab in animal stroke models have not been translated into clinical practice. Our present study reveals the relevance of a β2 integrin, lymphocyte function-associated antigen-1 (LFA-1), as a potential key player in protecting neuronal cell death after oxygen-glucose deprivation in organotypic hippocampal cell cultures. …”

High-Accuracy Measurement of Three-Dimensional Inclinations of Power Transmission Towers Using Reconstruction Model of Stereo Images
Published 2023-01-01“…As for the 3D reconstruction, a method of calculating the matching cost using a combination of multichannel red–green–blue stereo pairs and Sobel edge detection stereo pairs is proposed to obtain accurate matching cost, and a method of invalid disparity judgment is proposed to detect the invalid disparities in small closed areas; as for the calculation of 3D inclinations, a 3D inclination calculation method is put forward to measure 3D inclinations by rotation and translation of different 3D reconstruction models. The experiment shows that the 3D reconstruction quality is good and the results of the 3D inclinations are accurate, which is of great value in the static or dynamic measurement of 3D inclinations of power transmission towers.…”

Photoreceptor metabolic window unveils eye–body interactions
Published 2025-01-01“…A thinner photoreceptor layer thickness is significantly associated with an increased risk of future mortality and 13 multisystem diseases, while systematic analyses of circulating metabolomics enable the identification of 109 photoreceptor-related metabolites, which in turn elevate or reduce the risk of these health outcomes. To translate these insights into a practical tool, we developed an artificial intelligence (AI)-driven photoreceptor metabolic window framework and an accompanying interpreter that comprehensively captures the metabolic landscape of photoreceptor–systemic health linkages and simultaneously predicts 16 multisystem health outcomes beyond established approaches while retaining interpretability. …”
