Response of negative ion beamlet width and axis deflection to RF field in beam extraction region
Published 2025-01-01“…Abstract Beam-divergence characteristics of single negative ion beamlet have been experimentally investigated with a superimposition of a controlled perturbation of a radio frequency wave (RF) field in a filament-arc discharge negative ion source. Oscillations of a negative-ion beamlet width and axis responding to the RF perturbation were observed, which may be a cause of the larger beam divergence angle of the RF negative ion source for ITER. …”

Isolated zeros destroy Fermi surface in holographic models with a lattice
Published 2020-01-01“…We find that at strong lattice potentials sectors of the Fermi surface are unexpectedly destroyed and the Fermi surface becomes an arc-like disconnected manifold. We explain this phenomenon in terms of a collision of the Fermi surface pole with zeros of the fermionic Green’s function, which are explicitly computable in the holographic dual.…”

Mathematical modeling of plasma thruster device thermal processes
Published 2022-10-01“…The purpose of the study is to develop a mathematical model of thermodynamic processes in the arcjet thruster device and simulate the interaction of argon with arc discharge plasma. The comparative analysis of the calculated parameters, thanks to the proximity of electron temperature values with the previously experimentally obtained under the static state in the arcjet thruster device, confirms the reliability of the presented mathematical model of plasma processes and the need for its improvement.…”
