SIMLATION OF 3D RESIDUAL STRESS FIELD OF ULTRASONIC SURFACE ROLLING BY DYNAMIC FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS by ZHAO YunCai, WEN ChunBin

    Published 2017-01-01
“…The present paper presents a numerical approach to investigate the surface layer residual stress after ultrasonic surface rolling process(USRP),which is a severe plastic deformation process involving complex static extrusion and dynamic impact.According to the technological principle of USRP developed finite element model, assessment of meshing accuracy as well as definition of loading condition. As supplied 304 Austenitic Stainless Steel disc was subjected to ultrasonic surface rolling for validation of FEM,then simulates the processing of ultrasonic surface rolling, analysis of the residual stress field distribution characteristics and the influence of processing parameters on the rule. From the simulation results it can be seen that the surface of the material has a uniform distribution of residual compressive stress, with the increase of depth, the residual stress has a compressive stress peak and a smaller peak of the tensile stress and finally reduced to 0.The influence of machining parameters on the magnitude and depth of residual stress is different, the static pressure, the coverage rate and the number of processing have great influence on the amplitude and the amplitude is small.…”

Nos natura non sustinet : à propos de l’intensification agricole dans quatre terroirs du nord des Gaules by Pierre Ouzoulias

    Published 2014-12-01
“…These societies, because they were hampered by the low equilibrium trap, would have remained at a steady state determined by their technological level and by their carrying capacity. According to this economic model, the production capacity of the land is often considered as an exogenous factor and is thought to be determined mainly by its natural characteristics. To this outline are opposed the ideas of Esther Boserup, who considers that the demographic pressure may be the cause of the agricultural intensification and of the exploitation of new land. …”

Freinet and Montessori in practice. A comparative analysis of the meanings attributed to the process of learning by early education teachers – research report by Jarosław Jendza, Joanna Grzanka

    Published 2020-12-01
“…Freinet teachers concentrate on the techniques and then – in their narratives – outline the values related to education whereas Montessori teachers’ narratives are oriented at values and only illustrated with some technological examples. The outcomes of the analysis can be formulated in a form of provisional synthesis: The realization of constructivism in education is not connected so much with so called “active learning techniques” but rather with values, individual and shared axio-educational orientations and the quality of relations between various subjects involved in education. …”
