Highly Thermally Conductive Liquid Crystalline Epoxy Resin Vitrimers with Reconfigurable, Shape‐Memory, Photo‐Thermal, and Closed‐Loop Recycling Performance
Published 2025-01-01“…Abstract The low thermal conductivity, poor toughness, and non‐reprocessability of thermosetting epoxy resins severely restrict their applications and sustainable development in flexible electronics. Herein, liquid crystalline epoxy (LCE) and dynamic ester and disulfide bonds are introduced into the cured network of bisphenol A epoxy resin (E‐51) to construct highly thermally conductive flexible liquid crystalline epoxy resin (LCER) vitrimers. …”

A Review on Machine Learning Application in Biodiesel Production Studies
Published 2021-01-01“…Biofuel can be used instead of fossil fuel due to environmental benefits and availability to produce various energy sorts like electricity, power, and heating or to sustain transportation fuels. Biodiesel production is an intricate process that requires identifying unknown nonlinear relationships between the system input and output data; therefore, accurate and swift modeling instruments like machine learning (ML) or artificial intelligence (AI) are necessary to design, handle, control, optimize, and monitor the system. …”

Suppression of Aedes aegypti may not affect sympatric Aedes albopictus populations: findings from two years of entomological surveillance in Singapore
Published 2025-01-01“…Here we investigate these concerns within the context of a Wolbachia-based Ae. aegypti suppression programme in highly urban Singapore, where general mosquito management is sustained through environmental management. Using nationally representative and longitudinal Aedes surveillance data, we show (1) no consistent association of increase in Ae. albopictus abundance with Ae. aegypti population suppression within Wolbachia-Aedes release sites, and (2) no significant change in the vertical spatial distribution of Ae. albopictus in high-rise residential apartment blocks even after two years of Ae. aegypti suppression. …”

Study on the driving mechanism of spatio-temporal non-stationarity of vegetation dynamics in the Taihangshan-Yanshan Region
Published 2025-01-01“…As an important ecological barrier of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, the Taihang-Yanshan Region (TYR) plays a crucial role in maintaining the sustainable stability of the ecosystem. This study aims to investigate the spatio-temporal evolution of vegetation dynamics and elucidate the various driving forces behind these changes, and results indicate that: (1) kernel Normalised Vegetation Index (kNDVI) is effectively capable of reflecting the vegetation changes in the TYR. …”

Mycobacterium tuberculosis Multidrug-Resistant Strain M Induces Low IL-8 and Inhibits TNF-α Secretion by Bronchial Epithelial Cells Altering Neutrophil Effector Functions
Published 2017-01-01“…Interestingly, M-CM increased H37Rv replication in PMN which would allow the spreading of mycobacteria upon PMN death and sustain IL-8 release. Thus, our results indicate that even at low invasion/replication rate within Calu-6, M induces the secretion of factors altering the crosstalk between these nonphagocytic cells and PMN, representing an evasion mechanism developed by M strain to persist in the host. …”
