Aménagements de berge monumentaux d’époque laténienne et romaine à Besançon (Doubs) by Christophe Gaston

    Published 2020-12-01
“…At the rear of the rampart a road paved with alluvial pebbles has been uncovered that separated this structure from the residential area. The preserved starting point of the internal slope along this path makes it possible to estimate the width of the rampart as being 6 m for a height that must have been around 4,5 to 5 m at the level of the parapet walkway. …”

Bending Properties of Short-Cut Basalt Fiber Shotcrete in Deep Soft Rock Roadway by Shaoyang Yan, Huazhe Jiao, Xiaolin Yang, Jinxing Wang, Fengbin Chen

    Published 2020-01-01
“…Compared with the control group, the peak load and absorption capacity increased by 56.67% and 636.96%, respectively, and the maximum crack width decreased by 32.10%. (3) The SEM analysis indicated that the basalt fibers distributed randomly and evenly in the concrete, which can form a three-dimensional spatial skeleton with a stable structure. Excessive fiber incorporation can increase fiber agglomeration during stirring and spraying. (4) The support results of an underground engineering test show that, in 35 days, short-cut basalt fiber shotcrete with 4.5 kg/m3 fiber content is better at restraining the surrounding rock than shotcrete with other fiber contents. …”

Experimental study on the simultaneous effect of smart water and clay particles on the stability of asphaltene molecule and emulsion phase by Mina Sadat Mahdavi, Amir Hossein Saeedi Dehaghani

    Published 2025-01-01
“…Additionally, ATR (Attenuated Total Reflection) results and elemental analysis obtained from asphaltenes extracted from the aged oil phase, along with zeta potential measurements of the aged oils, indicated a reduction in the concentration of aliphatic groups as well as in the polar and negative components of the asphaltene molecular structure from the oil phases. Furthermore, the analysis of the simultaneous effects of ion-tuned water and clay on emulsion properties revealed differing impacts on the stability of the emulsion phase. …”
