Privacy preserving based on differential privacy for weighted social networks by Li-hui LAN, Shi-guang JU

    Published 2015-09-01
“…Focusing on the weak protection problems in privacy preservation of weighted social networks publication,a privacy preserving method based on differential privacy was put forward for strong protection of edges and edge weights. The WSQuery query model was proposed meeting with differential privacy on weighted social networks, could capture the structure of weighted social networks and returned the triple sequences as the query result set.The WSPA algorithm was designed according to the WSQuery model, could map the query result set into a real number vector and injected Laplace noise into the vector to realize privacy protection. The LWSPA algorithm was put forward because of the high error of the WSPA algorithm, partitioned the triples sequence of the query results into multiple subsequences, constructed the algorithms for each subsequence according with differential privacy and reduced the error and improved the data util-ity.The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method can provide strong protection for privacy information, simultaneously the utility of the released weighted social networks is still acceptable.…”

Lightweight malicious domain name detection model based on separable convolution by Luhui YANG, Huiwen BAI, Guangjie LIU, Yuewei DAI

    Published 2020-12-01
“…The application of artificial intelligence in the detection of malicious domain names needs to consider both accuracy and calculation speed, which can make it closer to the actual application.Based on the above considerations,a lightweight malicious domain name detection model based on separable convolution was proposed. The model uses a separable convolution structure. It first applies depthwise convolution on every input channel, and then performs pointwise convolution on all output channels. This can effectively reduce the parameters of convolution process without impacting the effectiveness of convolution feature extraction, and realize faster convolution process while keeping high accuracy. To improve the detection accuracy considering the imbalance of the number and difficulty of positive and negative samples,a focal loss function was introduced in the training process of the model. The proposed algorithm was compared with three typical deep-learning-based detection models on a public data set.Experimental results denote that the proposed algorithm achieves detection accuracy close to the state-of-the-art model, and can significantly improve model inference speed on CPU.…”

    Published 2020-06-01
“…Aiming to solve problems of the low compatibility and weak anti-attack ability of the Internet of things (IoT) centralized platform in the device identity authentication process,a blockchain-based distributed IoT device identity authentication architecture was proposed. The digital identity and related information were stored in the new block data structure, and a distributed IoT device identity authentication mechanism was proposed based on the cryptography related knowledge. At the same time,a device digital certificate issuance process and a detailed process of the identity authentication were designed. The security analysis of the proposed mechanism were carried out from the aspects of power constraints, device privacy protection, and ability to resist attacks among various entities. The performance of three aspects, which were security attributes, computational overhead and storage overhead, were compared and analyzed. The results show that the proposed identity authentication mechanism can resist a variety of malicious attacks, achieve highly secure distributed IoT identity authentication, and has certain advantages in the performance.…”

Study on Transmission Error of Cylindrical Gear with Arcuate Tooth Trace by Ma Dengqiu, Ye Zhenhuan, An Yu, Wu Tingqiang, Chen Fangzhou

    Published 2020-04-01
“…In order to study the transmission error of the cylindrical gear with arcuate tooth trace,a torsional vibration model of the cylindrical gear with arcuate tooth trace transmission system is proposed, and a dynamics model is established based on 3D model. The influence of tooth width, tooth line radius, load and rotation speed on the transmission error is analyzed. The results show that, the transmission error fluctuates periodically around 0 when the structure parameters and working conditions are different; the transmission error amplitude decreases first and then increases with the increase of the tooth width; the transmission error amplitude changes in shape of “W” with the increase of the tooth line radius, that is,it first decreases and then increases with the increase of the tooth line radius, and then first decreases and then increases with the increase of the tooth line radius; the transmission error amplitude increases with the increase of load and rotating speed. The results provide the theoretical basis for the noise reduction and lubrication, fault diagnosis and gear tooth geometric modification of the cylindrical gear with arcuate tooth trace.…”

A peak-to-average power ratio reduction method for mixed-numerology multi-carrier systems by Nan SHI, Xiaoran LIU, Jun XIONG, Xiaoying ZHANG, Jibo WEI

    Published 2023-10-01
“…In order to support diverse service demands of communication scenarios, 5G adopts the mixed-numerology system based on orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM).The mixed-numerology systems still have the problem of high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR).Furthermore, its design structure makes it difficult to apply traditional PAPR suppression methods straight forwardly, in which mixed signals are generated by superimposing multiple sub-signals with different parameters. An optimization model for minimizing PAPR in mixed-numerology systems was established based on tone reservation method.Utilizing the characteristic of single-peak of time-domain kernel, the multiple copies were generated in different numerologies based on the peak position of the mixed signal. The mixed time-domain kernel was then superimposed to reduce the peaks of the mixed signal.Since the proposed algorithm didn’t require inverse fast Fourier transform (IFFT)/ fast Fourier transform (FFT) operations during iteration, it had relatively low computational complexity.Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm effectively reduces the PAPR of mixed signals.…”
