Lightweight photovoltaic modules technologies: reliability evaluation and market opportunity
Published 2025-01-01“…Lightweight modules are characterized by a reduced weight compared to classical PV modules with usually less than 10 kg/m2 allowing its installation on rooftops with low bearing capacity without the need of reinforcing the roof structure. Even if this PV technology has higher costs than classical modules due to lower capacity production and often specific module material like transparent composite instead of glass, it represents an efficient technical and commercial solution for specific applications with lower transportation, installation, and maintenance costs. …”

Evaluation of Models for Describing Photosynthetic Light–Response Curves and Estimating Parameters in Rice Leaves at Various Canopy Positions
Published 2025-01-01“…However, selecting the most suitable model from numerous available light–response models is still difficult because of the complex canopy structure. This study aimed to evaluate the performance of different models, including the rectangular hyperbolic model (RHM), non-rectangular hyperbolic model (NRHM), exponential model (EM), and modified rectangular hyperbolic model (MRHM), in modeling <i>P</i>n/<i>I</i> curves and estimating photosynthetic parameters for rice leaves at various canopy positions. …”
