The Mediating Role of Cognitive Reappraisal on Bedtime Procrastination and Sleep Quality in Higher Educational Context: A Three-Wave Longitudinal Study
Published 2025-01-01“…Grounded in the Self-Regulation Model of Behavior and the Transactional Model of Stress and Coping, this study examines the mediating role of cognitive reappraisal in the relationship between bedtime procrastination and sleep quality over time. Methods: Employing a longitudinal design, the study examined the progression of bedtime procrastination, cognitive reappraisal, and sleep quality among university students at three distinct time points throughout an academic semester. Structural equation modeling and autoregressive time-lagged panel models were utilized to analyze the data, assessing both the direct effects and the mediating role of cognitive reappraisal over time. Results: The results revealed that bedtime procrastination exhibited significant stability across time points (β = 0.619 to 0.658, p< 0.001). …”

The relationship between work-life balance and psychological well-being: an empirical study of metro rail travelers working in the information technology sector
Published 2025-01-01“…The valid responses of 500 participants were analyzed for structural equation modeling. The eight reflective constructs in the study are occupational stress, the 3 constructs of work–life balance—“work interference with personal life, personal life interference with work and work–personal life enhancement”—and the four constructs of psychological well-being autonomy, self-acceptance, positive relations, and environmental mastery.ResultsThe SEM results for the lower-order constructs indicate that the impact of occupational stress on psychological well-being was statistically significant (p < 0.005), as were the two constructs of psychological well-being, environmental mastery, and self-acceptance (p < 0.001; p < 0.05). …”

Published 2025-01-01“…., heavy episodic drinking, Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test-Consumption [AUDIT-C]), and AUD symptoms. Structural equation modeling was used to test whether drinking motives mediated the associations between dummy-coded sexual orientation (with heterosexual men as the reference) and alcohol use indicators or AUD symptoms.ResultsMostly-heterosexual men exhibited higher scores on alcohol use indicators than heterosexual men, with almost full mediation through their drinking motives, specifically higher enhancement motives. …”

Fertilization Induced Soil Microbial Shifts Show Minor Effects on <i>Sapindus mukorossi</i> Yield
Published 2025-01-01“…The relative abundance of <i>Firmicutes</i>, <i>Bacteroidota</i>, and <i>Fusobacteriota</i> was positively correlated with the application of P and K fertilizers, while the relative abundance of <i>Acidobacteriota</i> and <i>Verrucomicrobiota</i> decreased with the increase in P and K fertilizers. (3) The N2P2K2 treatment produced the highest <i>sapindus</i> yield (1464.58 kg/ha), which increased by 258.67% above the control. (4) Redundancy analysis (RDA) showed that the primary determinants of bacterial community structure were soil pH, total K, and effective P concentration. (5) Structural equation modeling (SEM) showed that soil nutrient content was the main direct factor driving the yield of <i>Sapindus mukorossi</i>, whereas the bacterial community attributes (e.g., diversity and structure) had minor effects on the yield. …”
